Same with DOW and previous mission AI is dead its so frustrating that this game has taken so long to arrive and is so full of bugs, BIS need to pull their fingers out and start fixing the bugs then release a big patch. It is expensive to shell out money for something that doesn't work.

Why do you whant to?

l decided to play a mission from Arma1, and Queens gambit, and found i can't access any missions, i found that Arma 2 had overwritten the files? Any one else had this? Do i need to reinstall Arma 1 into a different location? or will uninstalling it affect Arma2 .

on line is crap, The steam sh*te caused nothing but problems. there are a lot of potential customers who either can't download due to 56k or no internet connection (there are still people out there). On line doesn't help anyway, there are cracked cd downloads of Half life 2 out there, negating the need to download The old fade method worked so either use that, or if online registration is required then do it at Bohemia on line or by post to get an activation key. but don't make it so you need extra downloads to run it. (i would also like to see patches available by mail on cd) Further BIS could always produce the game themselves without going to another company for distribution, that way they get all the profit.

I had exactly the same problem a year ago, the only thing that worked was to use a different copy of resistance. (both were genuine) before any one moans.
