    Thanks for the info, but my problem is slightly different.

    I don't want to use the ROC Exercise soldiers. I took the depboed exercise mission (which came with the ROC 3.0 pack), left everything as it was, except one thing. I changed the ROC Exercise soldiers to the normal BIS US-troops and equipped them with the ROC_T65k2_bfa-rilfes and the appropiate ammo.

    The problem then is, that the bad guys (ROC-MC Red units) won't shoot at me. They keep throwing those training grenades at me (which actually can "kill" me and force me and my troops to sit down).

    Can you help me?

    But jens198, seeing as your a european OFP addict since 2001, you should probably remember that some pre-resistance units weren't packaged with the original game.

    Namely, the Frogfoot, Vulcan, Humvee, Apache, BMP-2, BDRM, Bradely, Kiowa, Chinook as well as the Trabant, not to mention some weapons and the flag pack.

    Yes, you're right. But I was wondering, why they didn't tried to make more cash out of it. All these addons were for free except Resistance and Red Hammer (which I learned now, wasn't made by BIS).

    But as I stated above, I'm not complaining about BIS.

    Hi everyone,

    I just played Hellfish's Bradley mission and I have to say, even it's a short and quick mission, it's one of the best i've seen for a long time. Why? Cause it gives you this "you are really there" feeling. It's not some far away phantasy island with some tanks driving around, no it's southern Germany in the ending 80s and the red steam roller is coming your way!

    The FRAGO is an outstanding example how it should be made.

    I'm really encouraging Hellfish to make more of these realistic missions. That's OFP the way it's meant to be.

    Any chance for some deeper informastion on the exercise missions (MILES)?

    I depboed the sp-excercise mission and changed one of the teams with normal US-soldiers and equiped them with the MILES-M16s. Problem is, that the OPFOR guys won't shoot at me and my guys. They only toss those training grenades at us. Any ideas?

    Well, I don't want to be missunderstood. I wasn't complaining about BIS for not releasing more addons, I was just wondering.

    Anyway, have you read the thread about the release of VBS today in the news-forum?

    Hi guys,

    this afternoon as I sat in the sun, I started thinking about OFP and the las three years. Really a good time. But I'm very puzzled about a few things: Why did BIS not release more official Addons? Looking at other games (Vietcong, MOHAA etc) seem to make easy cash by making a quick addon (four new levels + two new guns = € 19,99 please). I'm sure that BIS could've earned a lot of extra cash by releasing two more addons (at least I would've bought them)

    Why are the original BIS vehicles/units etc of a much lower quality than todays 3rd party addons? Why did BIS not take advantage of the possibilities of the game by makeing advanced units/systems like the Command Engine or the CoC Arty units?

    What other releases of OFP do exists (custom editions for military or police forces)? What happend to the VBS Project?

    Yep, of course it's possible with the tools we got today. But I'm sooo lazy... ;-)

    But why should it be easier with OPF 2?

    Because urban fighting is just crap in OFP.

    Ah, I thought you meant it would be easier to create new buildings. biggrin_o.gif

    Would be nice if we could get hands on that vbs stuff.

    Hi folks,

    does anyone have some buidlings like in the attached screenshot? As far as I can remember the shot came from the VBS site a long time ago. I'd like to make some kind of training facility (with the MILES Sytem from the ROC Mod).

    So buildings of that kind would be very nice.

    Well, acutally I only want to use my two monitors, which are attached to a simple ATI Radeon graphic card. But as far as I figured out, that's not possible.
