Nice mod guys, some friends had me playing forgotten hope 2 on bf2 for my wwII fix but now thats going in the bin. I am also happy to say the AEF now has a server up for the mod At the moment there is only 1 mission for the mod on the server, for that was all i could find. If anyone has missions, please pm them to me and i will upload them. And please be sensible when loading other mods. The server won't be running ACE2 mod or anything else, so all you really need is @31stWWA2. -

the 255mph is the never exceed speed, which means how fast you need to go before the chopper shakes its self to pieces/engines overheat/wind resistance breaks something. the cruise speed is the speed at which the flow of air over the wing best matches the shape of the wing, and give good fuel efficieny

The server has had a bit of down time lately, seems to crash a few times a day, not sure why as we have an ACE mod server that runs fine. The version on warfare on omaha also causes a max memeory issue on the server, so we are looking into it, trying to find the cause, so hopefully it can be fixed in the future. I haven't been seeing many people on it, just a few now and then, unless our clan jumps on, then we have about 5-8 people -

AEF now has a server up and running for the mod Name: AEF Public Invasion 1944 Server Plat.net.au IP: 202.62.137.110 Port: 2402 ArmA version: 1.16 beta At the moment we only have Invasion 1944 warfare on the server, more will be added as they come out. Server will be running 24/7. Server is hosted in Australia, so you ping might be a bit larger then usual but there shouldn't be any lag. Let me know how it all goes We are also hosting the mod files - http://gs01.games.gs.plat.net.au/~arma/mods/ Its the last one on the list under the ACE mod files. -

Hey If your looking for testers i'm more then willing to help test. The AEF run 2 servers at the moment, 1 public and one private, which has a different config on it every night of the week, and some of the guys are having a few issues with trying to change the configs and starting/stopping the server. Send either me or Wolffy.au (hes our head admin) a pm or something if you need help testing. (AEF)Hicks -

i am having problems with it crashing aswell. i can load the map up in the multiplayer mission included, but not in the editor. as soon as i hit preview the map crashes. and also when i quit out of the multiplayer mission and try to go back to the main screen, it crashes because it tries to load the map in the background. I got a 1gb 8600gt with latest drivers, 2gb of ram, so i am not sure what the issue might be

most people experience worst preformance in arma when running cards in crossfire or sli, try using just one and see how you go -

make sure that you don't use getmarkerpos for the last set of coordinates as all makers are at ground level, make sure you are using a just a number

is it just me or does the m107 sound like its being fired twice? other hen that, all the sounds are pretty good -
you can either use the setpos command with raw numberseg: unit setpos [1000,2000,10], which is very good as the unit can be placed anywhere inside the building, but you have to use trial and error to get it in the right place.The other option is to use the setpos command with the buildingpos command eg: unit setPos ((object 21222) buildingPos 1). this limits the postions available to place the unit. i also recommend going to http://www.ofpec.com/COMREF/index.php and searching these functions if you need more help using them

if you don't need to get back in the trucks, just set the fuel to zero, otherwise your best bet is to use the doGetOut command on the driver, i haven't tried it but i am pretty sure it makes them get out immediatly

hey for all you guys having problems with vista i think i have a solution. i installed the mod to a random empty folder, and for some reason the installation worked. i then just copied the xam folder to my arma directory and so far everything is working fine. Could someoone running vista with the installer problem please try this as well and post the result in here

Does anyone happen to have a bullet cam script lying about, i tried using bulletcam II but the dialogs screw up, they show up as triangles. I am trying to do an artillery script but my shells keep dissappearing so i really need one

is there any way to find out a units rank in game to use it in a script?

How do i find out what vehicle a unit is in. I want to create a script where it detects the vehicle that the player is in, then orders another squad to get in it aswell
