I would suggest getting a cheaper card, such as a 7600gt. Save your money, DX10 cards are coming out soon (besides the 8800). Don't want to be stuck on a DX9 card in a year or two .

This would be possible, but extremely difficult. I suggest PMing someone like Silent n Deadly, who was a great modeller in OFP. I'm sure he can help you out in ArmA also .

How fun would a game be where all you do is go place an IED on a roadside, run about 500m away, watch through a pair of binocs until a hummer drives by, then click your mouse to make an explosion? Then you get to run away and do it again! Not a good idea for a game IMO (unless it is VBS2)

Yes, the US version will feature fast roping. Also, there are US SF HALO units (not the futuristic warrior from xbox) in the US version + the appropriate scripts to use them. I have to say though, it is odd they are giving us HALO units, but no C130 ! Are we supposed to take our MH6's up 30000ft? These will most likely be added to the Euro versions later, but hopefully not.

I suggest going with a Nvidia FX5200. They are highly underated mate. Cost effective too I might add!
