Hello. I've read quite a bit about the problems some users are having with Resistance Patch 1.85. I too am having trouble. The patch loads correctly but when I try to execute Resistance, the mouse pointer turns into an hourglass for three or four seconds and then turns back to a pointer and the program does not execute. Version 1.75 works just fine. As you may have guessed, I am using an AMD processor and a motherboard based on the VIA chipset. I have tried to reset the AGP speed setting to 2, and the AGP aperture to 64MB. neither solution worked. Is there anything else I should try? I just cant seem to get it to work.
