This is because computers start counting from 0. Its not silly when you think like the computer does. An array is layed out like this. [A,B,C,D] 0 1 2 3 <= position You have to keep in mind that there are 4 elements in this array. <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">#hell _ig = 0 _TRL = list _trigger _target = _TRL select _ig _ig = _ig + 1 goto "hell" In this code example. You are resetting _ig to 0 each time you hit the top of the loop, yet before you goto the top of the loop your adding +1 to it. Therefore _ig would be 0 all the time. Oneoff's code example corrects this. It makes _ig = 0 outside the loop. hoz
