  1. No idea how to get it work in mission editor.

    In Range Mission, i ordered 2 soliders to get in 2 different LRM119. and i went to the first target area and pointed by using fire base and got reading position info to firebase then wait......??nothing happened. What else i need to do? My Version is lastest 1.14. i also tried to change the the playunit to FO1.. no clue.

    any idea will  be appreciated!

    the addon works only with real players. You need to build a fire table to get accurate results. I believe armaholic has a table or there may be a table in the rar file.

    I added this to Xeno domination mission and it was a great asset to have to take towns.

  3. Found and fixed two small bugs in co33 Revenge (missing revive sound files and wrong revive JIP behaviour).

    This mission was terrific. Some of the lads and I played this for 2 hours and was able to destroy the tower. We ran out of steam clearing Paraiso. Great job and tons of fun. Really takes a team effort.

    Tested it a few seconds ago with a Mi17, works perfect. Although this is allready 3.12 the wreck lift code hasn't changed.

    Code in init.sqf looks like this:

    x_heli_wreck_lift_types = sm_bonus_vehicle_array + mt_bonus_vehicle_array + ["Mi17"];

    Are you sure that it is a Mi17 (the one with the rockets) and not a Mi17_MG (with the MG gunner position at the side door) ?

    Is there a particular helo that can lift destroyed vehicles. I tried them all on an A-10 but didnt work. Is it the one with the rockets on it?


  5. Sure. Now is it some clear advantage having one instead of two each time you call for GS support? Note that having two has an advantage (not only numerical), the leader may order the second chopper to engange or check a different area which ensure much better coverage of the zone. This would not happen if you send TWO separate groups of a single chopper each instead of a single group with two choppers.

    Wow Mando that is very interesting. Let me ask then. Is it possible to get the helo's to fly in a broader pattern. What I find is the initial attack will come from a distance which is fine but then they fly in right over the enemy and eventually get shot down because they start hovering too much. Is it possible to get them to keep moving or is this just a function of their strength and mode.

    Ahh now this is the tutorial Ive been waiting for. Great work on this. One thing I noticed and Ill have to verify, when I add an M1, it drops in about 5 ft off the ground and lands hard. It looks like it damages the vehicle but again I need to verify. Great job i0n0s..


  7. You know what would be awesome is to have a slider bar where you can control where in the movement the units are. Then by pulling back the slider the units move backwards through their movement pattern. similar to watching a youtube video and being able to rewind it through the film but not necessarily all the way back to the beginning.


  8. Hmm thats odd, and hard to find. A solution is to disable the scripting addons, like truemods and ecs, one by one, to find outs whats the problem.

    Did you try it without any addons loaded at all?

    Yea I know. Im lazy. Hopefully I can do this this weekend. We use alot and they work perfectly with ICED Warfare and Xeno Domination.

    Tried the maps you made and they crashed my server every time. Im using a number of server side addon scripts including six-pack and truemods. Cant identify what may be causing the problem but it is consistent. We play with the same scripts on other warfare maps with no problems.


  10. New v1.59 available (check first post):

    - Now you can switch between cameras of all missions in-flight (cruise missiles have priority).

    - Now you can select LAND or JUMP mode for reinforcements and airborne assaults.

    - Now you can set different vehicle types for LAND and JUMP reinforcements or airborne assault missions.

    - Setup/Info dialog is now working, you have 5 configurable listboxes and a configurable info text.

    - Demo mission mando_bombs_armedrec.Sara updated (

    ).

    - Carpet bombing option added.

    - Now you may control comms state with a new global var, if value = 1, no comms so console will not work.

    - Added a new read-only global array with all the vehicles of the leaders in current missions.

    - Now you can control the side of the console with a new global var.

    - Now you can switch the control mode of missiles fired by reco planes to manual (TV) mode with a new global.

    - Lateral widescreen bars gone when in camera mode and console hidden.

    - If you change the course of a reco plane, it will consider also the current altitude set in the slider.

    - More details, examples and explanations added to the help file.

    I think it happens when you create a clear new mission

    and then you start that sqf file from 3de.

    The script will ensure that many different objects from different Addons are generated (may be) , but not registered in the current mission .sqm.

    After you start the mission, save the mission again and check

    if all needed addons are regisered in your mission.sqm.

    (check also your rpt file after that action).

    so the error messages I get I can ignore? My understanding is the SQF is there to allow us to add items on the fly so to speak. If I start the mission and save it, doesnt it make the entries in the mission permanent so I dont need the SQF later? Doesnt that defeat the purpose of having an sqf file?


  13. Version 0.95 is not optimized for ArmA version 1.14. Especially the armor values.

    Also replacement pack is bugged and shouldn't be used in multiplayer game wink_o.gif

    I'm working on new version but that may take some time sad_o.gif

    All the addons are included in the folders Im using. Its like it doesnt know they are there. this is using the SQF file in a mission. Im using Warfare bunkers in the mission as well as a couple of other addons. Now the strange thing is my work IS showing up in the mission.

    Creating debriefing

    Also tried creating a mission.sqm with the same project and everything worked fine. I only get a scalar error on empty ammo boxes. Ill get those out of the mission.


  16. Here is an interesting error that we noticed. I created my sqf file and added it to the mission. When the server loads we get the following error.

    Yes Silola. Ive seen a couple of other issues pop up but it could be my system. Sometimes I get a massive slowdown when I hit the T key to select something. I have to save my project, get out of the editor and reenter to get the FPS back up. Hard to track. But my SQF problem is resolved (my error)
