Hi,
i have recently completed the single player of flashpoint and decided i would have a go at the multiplayer aspect of the game. Unfortunatly im having some problems getting into games, i have the latest update (1.46) and the game runs perfectly smooth on my system. I tryed joining through gamespy and it all goes fine untill it says the "creating client" loading part, at which point it exits to desktop with no error message. i then tryed hosting a game and it seemed fine. i tryed the avon FAQ page and tryed the changing the port, but when i went to multiplayer in OFP and selected to change port or type an ip address the game crashes to desktop. my system specs are:
Win 98
AMD XP 1700+
KR7A
GF2 mx 400 PCI
128mb DDR ram
any help to solve this would be apreciated, i emailed BI's tech support but they didnt reply. also have tryed reeinstalling the game several times.
