I've been playing this game since the day the U.S. version was released. Longer if you count the demo....and it is still my favorite game ever. I just started playing Call of Duty yesterday, but for the sheer realism OFP rocks.

Is anyone using or has anyone used memmax memory optimizer. The software is supposed to free up RAM and let your computer run smoother. Does it smooth up OFP on the higher graphics settings? TIA

Completed the mission several times.........before I upgraded to v1.30. Just got to it last night now and if it's like the other missions after upgrading it's gonna be a tuffy. I always did it on foot, never even new you could take the cobras. Where are they located. That sounds like that would rock!

I managed to get into Gubas house undected going North to the sea, around the fence and then south back to Gubas house the back way. The alarm didn't go off until Gastovski radio'd base that he got the coordinates. Then I had to time it right just to get out of his house and go back the same way I came in. Strange thing is I made it back to the map coordinates Cc46 (where the mission should end) and it never ended. I wandered all over that grid location trying to trigger the ending and nothing would happen. Finally got fed up, snuck in the main gate made it to the base with the Hinds. Killed all occupants of the base and the roving foot patrols around it, including the Shilka. Got in a hind and just for spite destroyed all tanks, APC's, and soldiers i could find, including the 2nd Shilka on the beach to the west. Then I flew back to Cc46 where the mission should've ended the first time and it ended. This is an annoying bug since this isn't the first time i made it back on foot and wandered around aimlessly waiting for the mission to end.

Tybalt's reply is right on. Was getting real old when the entire town of Chapoi was clear of enemy units, and nothing more would happen. Just follow the main road through Chapoi heading east, till you get to the M113. Two hand grenades will light a fire under that driver! Then head back to Chapoi when he starts moving.
