Brief introduction. Operation Halfmoon is a Chinese serious combat-sim activity in Multiplayer ArmA, since May, 2008. In ArmA1 times, Operation Halfmoon has proprietary self-made MPmissions include COOP, TvT, PvP and PvP-AI modes. and proprietary MOD named OH(Operation Halfmoon) MOD, include modern PLA infantry, voices, firearms, vehicles, FFAMM (Fromz sound mod) 1.54 and some edit template scripts. The elements aimed at the Multiplayer sim-combat. ArmA2: OHMOD(Operation Halfmoon MOD) Version 2.0 will give an elaborate MOD based on the present Chinese PLA and give it to serious ArmA2 multiplayers. ArmA2: Dragon Rising? lol. Hell no.   5. Operation Halfmoon PLA (OHPLA) Standalone Release
  6. Banderas, ACE team responsible the version release affairs. Standlone version will release in ordinary way (7z). jhoson14, Yes, mortar team with deployable system is awesome. But I'm not good at the complex configs, So maybe I can made a PLA mortar first then ask Scuba to help me to added it in ACEXPLA, in future, i'm not sure.
  7. Hehe, There are two options for all of you my friends. ACEXPLA and Operation Halfmoon PLA. No need to persuade others' choose. They are practically same, with ACE compatible(dependent upon ACE) and the other without but standalone. As a matter of fact, The PLA standalone vesion is final encapsulated tonight, But there are some tired issues I have to solve in ACEXPLA, I want keep my word to release ACEXPLA first, The ACE team should be respected, they are helped me carefully and make this MOD more compatible becoming to multiplayer game. The standalone vesion is multiplayable but directed towards SP game, I added many style musics(like in the trailer) in it for mission edit guys. and I think it's simpler and more optimized. Sorry for tantalize friends, I'm too impatient to write the release Readmes. But there are bugs still creeping, Batter team work need cooperation and time. Thanks :) Really really want to play a while.. develop and test expend our too much time.
  8. ACEX:PLA plan to release with ACE2 beta 2 (Maybe Christmas time) Original standalone OHPLA MOD will release after ACEX:PLA. ACEX:PLA is under ACE leadership, more standyard in ACE development and full compatible with it. but nothing very different between the two projects. I appreciate ACE system, so I decided to join the ACE team. And I hope more pepole can use PLA satisfactory with, or without ACE.   9. It's already standalone playable in the beta test, last month. But we have to finish the ACE version first. :) Then I'll consider the standalone release. Thanks everone.

  11. This is the PLA active service SPAA (Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft) tracked, with tracked quad-25mm gun system and which itself carries the short-range CLC-1 defense radar. A new Army phased array radar is the SLC-2, which can detect incoming artillery out to 50km (30mi) to direct counter-battery fire. Counter-stealth radar.   13. As I said.. Take it easy, The MOD maker is me, Not others. So don't worry, I will be your suggestions, reference to live as possible lets everybody feel satisfied. and I will also have my own opinion. ;)
  14. In fact, in the mod production process, I pay great attention to the value setting, and expect all the elements connect to gaming. Anyone felt value too powerful, I think there is a misunderstanding, if you play a M1A1 even a BMP3, I think they should be instant eliminate ZTZ99 at second, You can test AI control the vehicles, Maybe make differents. I would like to respond to Vilas' post here: Relese version will tend to set weapons and vehicles normally, but that doesn't means similar. If a ZTZ99 duplicate the T90 or M1A1 damage values, just a 3d model replacement, It should not be called ZTZ99, right? However, I think I can fully understand with Vilas' opinion. and agree. Thank you Myshaak and caprera, I have read your feedback carefully, and will do my best to slove the bug and incorrect, but about the ammo hit degree, ie QCW05 and QSW06 is too small damage and QJY88 too big damage, -> I have refered to real firearm set of datas, may have some inaccuracy, but I think they are different from US or Rissian ones. I also will make them more "suitable"
