    Absolutely tasteless

I am a HUGE SOCOM II fan but that is tasteless... I saw that on the SOCOM II message board and I was pretty floored. If the picture was of anything else, it would probably be deemed okay but to turn soldiers mourning their fallen comrades is just wrong... I'm glad EGM has apologized but it doesn't make it right... Just my 2 cents BTW, SOCOM II is a wicked game, if anyone wants to add me to their friends list my name is the same one as I use here (and everywhere else).

Has ofp gotten you into trouble?

No real trouble here. Just thoughts drifting at work I sometimes find myself looking for the q or z key at loud noises.

    Ofp moments in gameplay

I just had a funny moment in SP. I was playing in the editor, flying around in a DAP blasting some stuff. When I got out to inspect the damage, standing in front of the chopper, the AI gunner turned the minigun on me, instantly killing me! Then while I was dead, he got out and moved into the pilots seat and started the chopper again!
  5. Whenever I play OFP 1.92, sometimes I get the red square. I wait for like 30 seconds, and I quit out. However, when I go to use internet, I find that my whole network connection to this PC is down. I have to reboot my PC to get it back. All the cables are in tight, and everything. I never got in in 1.91 I seem to be getting it all the time now. Losing connection and the network connection down. It only happens in OFP which leads my to believe it is not a network problem, but an OFP problem.

    Big problem...

I'm hosting the game so I do have the addons. I'll try reloading it later. 1 more question: When I export a different mission to MP and host a game. I load up the mission and blow myself up, I don't respawn. I have a dot marker named respawn_west My description.ext says: respawn="BASE" respawndelay=5

    Big problem...

I select my mission and hit OK but it just sits at the mission select screen. I try a different mission and it works. Just that one mission, I select it press OK and it just sits at the mission select screen.

    Big problem...

A few more questions. When I select my mission on the mission select screen in MP and press OK nothing happens. What is wrong now? How do I set a time limit for a CTF? Thanks in advance.

    Big problem...

Fixed, it turns out max APCs per group is 4. Thanks to Blackdog for the heads up.
  10. Everytime I try to place a unit I get "No more than 12 units per group supported!" The unit still gets placed anyway, but I can't preview my map and I can't play it when I export to MP Missions. I have no group with more than 12 units, I have no clue what's causing the message. The most units I have in a group is 9. Does anyone know what is causing this and how I can fix it?

    Modern usmc marpat

Yup, which is great. I like how you get both sides, so you can make a mission with both sides looking awsome.
  12. I'm making an MP mission but I'm having trouble with respawns. I have a marker (elipse) on my map and it is named respawn_west In my description.ext I have: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">respawn=3; respawndelay=5; showMap=1; showWatch=1; showCompass=1; showNotepad=1; debriefing=0; However, I save it as a MPMission, start a server, play the map and blow myself up. However the screen just stays black and I hear the seagull music, I don't respawn at base. I know this is a FAQ question but I think I did it right... does anyone know why it wont work?

    1.92beta helps against cheating

I use mod folders for regular addons quite a lot because it makes them easier to remove and prevents can't memory map errors. For example, Digital Grenade's Addon Pack #1, I have a mod folder for this because I only use this when playing on their server. I don't want to clutter my Addons folder with an addons that I only use on one server. I only put addons that I use on a regular basis (such as BAS ones) in my addons folder. Everything else is in a mod folder. It also makes the task of removing unwanted addons easier. Instead of digging through my addons folder, I simply delete the mod folder. This may sound a little stupid but, why aren't mod folders simply checked too?
