Like Wa_Va_Voom that was Wilco's reskin of Sigma 6's LAV-25 that moved like a car seeing as it was configed in the car class. FK has already explained why he made his LAVs tank class instead of car class: because of the limitation of ther being no proper optic views on car-class weapon stations i.e no proper zooming and the gunner must be at the same height as the weapon so he can aim it; if you look at his HMMWV with the CROWS system fitted you'll see that it has no optics because the player is below the level of the weapon and human gunners can only traverse the gun a full 360 degrees in the third person view. On car class vehicles there is also no possibility of a commander's turret either, which would make it extremely difficult for players to act as the commander on these vehicles since they couldn't be able to have full 360 degree coverage in the pilot view. The only possible solution I see to all this is if someone figures out how to put turrets on land vehicles in a similar fasion to how Col. Klink did on his PT boats. Then FK could have the turret and hull as separate vehicles (the turret being armour class, similar to Marfy's ZSU-23-2) allowing for zooming optics, missiles, commander turrets etc all to be placed on a car.

Having all the drinkers kicked out at the same time of night ensures that most of the night's incidents will be over by about midnight-1am and that the police will fairly close to any incidents since they have a fairly good idea of what time of night they're likely to take place and can be in position to deal witht them. By giving 24 hour licenses, people can choose when they want to go home (typically this as late as 3am in my case if there's a lock-in at the pub ) so the police will have to stay around in town/city centers for longer than they used to, dealing with incidents at times when usually there were none and having to travel back and forth from the station, back into the centre after their arrests all night long. I should imagine this would mean there will be fewer police on the street at any one time, since at the moment they just bung you in a van for half an hour to an hour while the pubs are still closing so they can be around to arrest people during this time, then take you to the station once things have quietened down or the van is full. It's not a good idea to extend licensing hours IMO.

Well, SA has made its fair share of enemies and there are generally quite a few people who've got pissed off by some of the stuff that was on the site, so it could be someone with a grudge against them. Just have a look at the "God Bless the Internet" bit.

Bloody hell Pappy, first it's your racist watermelons now this? You seem to have a knack for innocently sparking controversy I fully understand what your aim in making this island was though. I can see that you're not trying to mimic or trivialise current events, they just presented a feasible emergency situation that could be created as a mission scenario. If you'd have thought of it before the hurricane nobody'd bat an eyelid; nobody complained of insensitivity to all the poor buggers who's lives have been devastated by tornadoes when this addon was released: http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=6400 I don't see how anyone can be daft enough to think that another person could see all this stuff on the news and think "OMG PWNED!!!! There's also one passenger space in all the cargo varients of the Hummers (woodland, desert and the patrol ones) that doesn't fill either. It's the third place along the right bench; closest the rear, but like I said before 'M1097 HMMWV (Cargo, Open, Desert)' has some additional bugs that the others don't have, after playing with it a bit more I noticed that it doesn't move, and you can walk straight through most parts of it.

I've had a quick go with these and have found a couple of bugs, First, 'M1025 HMMWV (M240G, Desert)' has a number of problems with the gunner: The turret wont traverse more than about 45 degrees each way, and in the gunner view all you can see is an empty pintle mount with no gun is on it, and the "optics" view wont traverse up and down like it does with the other MG-kitted vehicles. Second bug is that 'M1097 HMMWV (Cargo, Open, Desert)' takes rather a lot of damage merely from a soldier walking in to it as so often happens when you order units to board it. Finally, the Spec-Op Humvees seem to be lacking a cargo-position, there's one seat in them that remains empty, it's the left-hand one on the second row IIRC. But dear God, this is a fantastic pack FK, it's modeled and textured beautifully and has some absolutely kick-ass features. Also I'm glad you've used the fantastic work done by the MCAR team to its full potential, it's about time more addons used their ground breaking work IMO. Ed:- Oh and to the rest of you, they look like CBTs Humvees because they gave FK the RGB values they used on their camo so that he could match the colours up IIRC. As you can see he did a very good job of it, but the models and textures are done by him unless stated otherwise.

@Maxpain, you need to put a BWMod Server gamelogic on the map with the units. @Harmed, you can download a german NH-90 by AfrographX here, and a Luftwaffe F-4E by TomiD and Footmunch here. Hardrock's working on making a German Eurofighter (along with various other schemes for all the aircraft's customers). No idea about any patriots or Alpha Jets though. @BWMod, nice work as always folks.

The carbine you posted in the second pic is in Kabal's SA-80 pack. http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=5312 I seem to remember UKF saying they'll consider making the  carbine since it's now starting to be fielded. Not sure what their stance on making L85s with reciever handles/ironsights is though. Edit:- don't hold me to this though.

We'll need new tools or at least an update of the old ones if we want to include the newer graphical effects ArAs offers like normal mapping. There's interface in Oxygen at the moment to apply them, so at the very least we should get some plug-ins for this kind of thing.

Nice to see you've sorted the spat out lads, and nice work on the chopper both of you. The interior on this is great Fischkopp, as a result I can't wait to see the rest of your work on your Marines H-53 pack. Rock, the ramp only goes back up on the CH-53GS, there's no action menu function for it on the CH-53G, guess this is somet AfrographX needs to sort out. It'd also be nice if that nice MG3 on the door of the GS was in working order too.

These addons are absolutely fantastic I love the new AH-1 models and the F-4s. The effects for the TOWs on the AH-1s and the bombs on the aircraft are brilliant. Shame they didn't fix the MG muzzle flashes on the Type-74 MBT though, it's still a big orange square. Anyone else getting really, really low res textures for the OH-6's control surface?

Like they said, you need Resistance if you want to use mods to make the game look and play better but since this requires you spending money, I suggest you wait for Armed Assault; CWC and Resistance rolled into one with the graphical revamp you want from a mod and posibly the smarter AI too. Though that might require a new computer for you unfortunately.
