Server Showing Wrong Ping and region!

I have the same exact issue, I've been trying to host some UAE servers on a spare rig and it just shows up in-game with 126ms on the server browser, while my true latency is 1ms. Not sure why the devs opted to have this sort of latency system for the servers rather than directly checking latency by pinging the server instead.
