Hi all, Apology for bumping an old thread, but would anyone have the Operation Northstar (Combined Operations) addon available or know where to find it? I want to give this campaign a try, but haven´t been able to find the proper version of ONS. AAI and ModDB both seem to have only the base Arma 2 version(s). Cheers.

Hi, I noticed your post last night before going to sleep and looked at the onedrive link, and there was a newly added CWR campaigns folder, but I didn´t check the contents and now all the CWR files are gone from there (dunno if that´s meant to be temporary or permanent). Are you still missing the 1985 campaign file? If so, I can share it with you somehow. I´ve been meaning to upload the CWR2 mod somewhere for the past few months, but I´ve just been terribly preoccupied with life stuff... EDIT: Scratch that. I´m staying cautiously positive, as I think it depends solely on BIS´s willingness to release it there. There have been other, similarly old or even older games which have seen a release on GOG over the past few years, so it´s definitely not impossible. They just need to be up for it. And Arma 2 already used to be there at one point.

Sorry to bump this, but while I understand this reasoning with Arma 3 given how integrated it is with the Steam framework (and still a very live game), does the same still actually apply to Arma 2 (and its DLCs)? I would assume that its MP segment is not as relevant/active nowadays and thus not really an obstacle for (re-)releasing Arma 2 (even a SP-only one) on GOG. Would it be possible to consider it in the future? Like others have mentioned, I too would love a DRM-free version of the game, even if (or rather especially for) preservation sake.

Thanks for the link! I only gave it a quick gander for now and managed to find VTE 1.6 there, so that´s great. Two of the Cimalex missions for Guerra do Ultramar that I´ve been looking for are listed there, but just like a lot of other stuff, it only has a html and json entry and is not downloadable (unless I´m missing something). So same as when I check the bidentify site itself, where most of the uploaded stuff is missing for some reason (https://bidentify.jerryhopper.com/files/arma2oa/scenarios/spmissions). Will do. I´m a bit busy these days with life nonsense, so it might take a while for me to do so (especially since I´m not exactly proficient with sharing sites), but I´ll try to do it some time this month. Unless of course W0lle (or someone else) doesn´t re-upload it himself somewhere or get the site running again in the meantime. I´ve only been scavenging for Arma 2 mods for the past few months, so most of the stuff I have is from ModDB or armedassault.info, but I´ll try to upload the things that are not readily available there as well.

Damn, so the the CWR website is dead now as well? The rate of dying links is worrying and still no comprehensive salvation in sight. Anyways, I downloaded the mod from the website in its entirety earlier this year, so if you´re still looking for it, I can try to upload it somewhere for you to download. Unfortunately, it lacks most of the extra custom-made missions, since the links on the website were only for Armaholic (I´m looking for them myself), but the basic missions and campaign are there afaik. Lemme know. Curious if you´ve managed to procure this in the end?

Have you managed to get the Forgotten Few Takistan addon you asked for earlier? I wish I could help you, but all I have is the basic Chernarus version (0.54) of it. The author, King Nothing, seems to still be active on the forum though. Perhaps it might be worth a shot asking him directly if he still has the files somewhere? Could I ask for the link please?
