Upon reading Field Manual in game menu, found out some features missing from the game.I suppose they are planed in the future. Still there are issues: : 1) Commanding - yes, basic commands , like move, seek and destroy, mount vehicle are crucial, but some more optios are needed, like changing formation, combat behavior - hold fire/open fire, scan horison/curtain direction, find cover, as they used right now in ambushes and other basic combat situations. 2) Vehicle destrucion - so far there supposed to be destructable tires, engine, transmission and glass. Maybe it will be extended in a future, but would be nice to see visual representation of damage, same like in previous entities, basic 2d model with changing colours of compartments if not on real model 3) Medical system - we know it will be expanded , but war is not a nice thing , so i suppose more gore elements, like blood splatter , dismemberment and body dragging are a must

I am not talking about console capability, I am talking about general feel of the game. It feels arcady now, and while it might be changed in the future, so far it feels like gloryfied SQUAD with almost none of the content. Yes, animations are smoother, particles and textures are better, but it doesnt feel like ArmA, more like some kind of port .. Maybe it will change after we will get AI overhowl and more vehicles. Or with A4

Good ideas, especially aviation part. Since previous entities were bit basic, I am wondering how far devs are willing to go in A4. I guess DCS level would be too advanced, but something like simplified Warthunder would be nice

Arma was always about huge scale, realistic (ish) warfare. If you want small maps, feel free to go to any other project , like cod, cs and other crap

Developers are competent. Its new engine, and crossplay issues

Don't get me wrong , for a test bed multiplayer is ok, but I still prefer to test mods and develop missions in singleplayer, since it allows to create more complex scenarios, add scripting, also - surprise factor is a thing, as you never know how AI would act. And yes, devs should make AI learn how to drive or at least how to mount vehicles, alongside many more things. Hopefully its matter of little time

Sounds like something worth trying. But cant test it right now, I live far from my pc. Still, someday...I wonder , if there will be single player in A4, will devs give us campaigns ? Would love to play old Cold war crisis campaign, extended, with new features and options..something to dream about I guess

Thing is , Reforger has god perfect cold war setting which I loved in original OFP and A2. Besides, devs announced soonish video, "REFORGER RFI"(Request for information) where they are supposingly answer our questions about future of arma. lets just wait for that video

Well, it's sad to know. Most of Arma success was from its editor and ability to create your own content, missions and campaigns including
