Since the last Steam update repawning in single player senarios is not working as it did. Meaning when killed I get a black screen now, then I have to press escape to get the option to respawn lower left corner. Before when kill a screen was shown with the huge button to press to respawn. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I just found out what is causing this weird respawn glitch. RESHADE ... I remove it and all is okay again. So now we know what was going on. Thanks for replying. Maybe this thread will help someone else.

Yes single player as I mentioned. It's a weird problem. I just play single player mods from the Steam Workshop on maps such as Fallujah.

My understanding is that mechanical drives will sloooww down when approimately 75% full.

These days most games need anti-griefing software. Maybe force an IQ test during game purchases.

You'll have to test each mod to see which on is the culprit.

I noticed this parameter 'detectedAdapterId=0' in the Arma3.cfg file. I only have one monitor ... so I assume it's number is '0'. There is also 'forcedAdapterId=-1;' Yes the post is old but my post might help someone. Otherwise delete the thread.

what are the best settings to use on the command line? what 'system memory limit (64bit)' should be used? what 'video memory limit' value should be used? what '-malloc=' setting should be use? should '-high' be used? should 'hugepages' be used? W10 Prof 64 bit, i9-9900kf @ 4.9, RTX 1070 ti ftw3 ultra (8 gb), 32 gb 3200 mhz system memory, Samsung SSDs. Nothing is overclocked. Thanks in advance.

Seems like the AI NPCs can see through bushes and grass. At times I keep getting shot and no AP NPCs are in sight. I am not very good at playing Arma 3, so I use the Novice setting ... but the setting makes no difference. Is there a mod that tones down the AI NPCs abilities?

I am not very familar with Arma 3. I don't know how to use the editor. For example, let's use 'Revenge!' or 'Favela' senarios. After starting up either mod there is no way to change the weather.

Should we unsubscribe before installing this mod using your install bat file? more control over how much rain and wind would be nice when in a game I hardly get any rain and no wind

I had a situation where there were many squad mates. I instructed some to get into a truck, and then I could not get into that truck. I instructed the rest of the team to get into another truck, and I could not get into that truck. So instructed one of the trucks to be empty of squad mates. I then got into the truck and could not instruct any teammates to get into the truck with me. Plus while in the truck I could not instruct the other truck load of dummies to do anything, such as going to a waypoint. What is the secret?

Seems weird that Steam overlay stops nVidia Precision from displaying any information. Thanks!

Why is the video private?

I cannot apply bandages or splints, etc. What is the secret? Standard game play. Nothing shows in the menus to apply bandages, etc.

Got it working with just 'ace' and 'cba_a3'! When the menu appears do ya just mouse wheel click? The menu shows a red circle arount selected item but cannot activate it. I ever had 'ace3_3.14.0'. I think that I am okay now! Thanks to everyone!

ace, cba_a3 and ace_extras_a2
