Hi,
First of all, sorry if this is the wrong section to post into. I know it said "serious bugs" in the description but I couldn't find any other place to ask about this. I've also been googling this so much but I am yet to find an answer.
I hate playing as the squad leader and it used to be so that I could just put myself as the last member of the group to prevent ever becoming one.
However for some reason lately the game has been making me take over each time the squad leader dies unless there are higher ranked soldiers left in the group. I don't want to make everyone else Corporal just so I wouldn't be the next one to take command. Has anyone got any idea why it skips over the others? Is it a setting or something? I've tried messing around with the skill levels too and it doesn't seem to have any effect.
EDIT: I checked and it doesn't happen when previewing the mission in the editor? Why does it happen when actually playing the mission?
