  1. So... now we are absolutely forced to go into matches and can't even depend on the shelter challenges when needed. That extra xp from shelter challenges was nerfed hard and you are absolutely losing a customer as you continue to go down this path of forcing pvp at every turn. BLUE weapons and resource crates are only 50 xp now??? down from 500each? wow. less than a green 250xp crate... Might as well make them grey crates cause it's pointless to waste time on them now. Esp since I've not seen a single set of nails or wire in over a month from these resource crates. And it's all that's needed anymore... I actually get more grey materials than anything else, even though I generate materials in shelter for free.... and then there's also more green level fertilizer and blue level chems than grey level nails. I can't complete the higher tiers of shelter with such low levels of mat's gathering for them... for grey mats no less! And food donations are also pretty worthless now with all the crate xp nerfs since all I can ever be able to donate food for, now only gets me 50xp each crate... What a waste of time... All I do is try to upgrade the food options in the shelter so I can get the extra resources I can't get in-game. Do I suck at in-game play? maybe. Or maybe Dev nerfed out too many of the resources in each map also... I am seriously not wanting to ever waste time on these poorly developed shelter mechanics... ever again. It was bad enough looking at all the pay to win upgrades ppl keep getting for upgrades, but when the piddly map resources were nerfed, I thought, I'll give it a try... now, I'm just done. Literally giving the benefit to all the ppl who pay to buy the xp for each season or you will have to play for hours each day to make up for that lost xp. While the rest of us poor and broke slobs just keep getting kicked to the curb cause we don't have time for this game. All to just force us to upgrade crates and forcing us into pvp situations for the bigger crates in-game. But, I have less and less time to play this game... so what you really are doing is forcing me to move on. The whole reason I liked this game from the start, was to have the option to not engage in pvp in a match. It was like dayz in that aspect... to give me no option now is just making it another pew pew shooter with no attainable goals. Unless I pay for the progression. Seems the Dev's being forced to work from home this past year generated some seriously delusional ideas about game/shelter progression.

    Prep work for season 8

Yep, well they nerfed the blue resource crates down to 50... from 500!! So not sure about ur crates cause I rarely get any in game. Did they? Now bohemia wants the blue resource crates less than the green crates which are 250pts. wow, utterly waste of time doing any food donating if we can't get any points from the shelter challenges work like deconstructing weapons for materials. Get less and less from all this game... utter tripe forcing people to always go for the in-game challenges. Some of these challenges now require more material supplies than any payout for seasonal xp or resource gathering from the shelter.

    Xp not being retained

Ditto, only had 600xp after loggin in just a few min's ago... for 4 days (depending on time zone) of logging in at 300xp per day should be at least 1200xp minimum so far. Only noticed after I completed 2 different daily activities in the shelter and it only totaled up to 1125 afterwards. So the season 6 xp counter is not adding daily log-ins for me. And from the other similar posts about this topic, where other ppl are saying some of their encounter activity is not being counted either. Either it is a server side issue or a full season 6 addon issue. Will this get resolved?
  4. I'm usually challenging myself to only loot as much as I can and avoid all potential conflicts. It started out because my lag got me killed a ton but now I hav to only worry about the lame d/c's. But I got this game cause I thought it was centered on looting. I was wrong... They want us to fight cuz the shelter build is mostly pointless when we are usually unwilling to risk losing the good guns to exit campers and teamers. So the loot challenge is how I play now. Besides (realistically speaking) in a post nuke holocast world, most ppl would form groups or die quickly from being alone, so I never understood the games' focus on killing each other. Guess the temptation to mimic CoD is to high... If they wanna mimic something, why not Division 2 or Ghost Recon Breakingpoint.

    Animals

Animals are a must in my book. Both in the shelter area for extra food and for encounters for all the above. The animals can be randomized to keep them from being farmed for loot in encounters. The random hidden caches work well to offset the mass of people running to the barred house safe's. The animals can also be used as camper deterrents at exits and cliffs. Eagles/condors/bats/bees swarming at cliffs would announce a sniper better than the shine of a scope in some instances. Several large bears and wild dogs/wolves would be the pack deterrent against teamers in solo mode. The game could code to detect just about any type of activity, just needs a reason to add animals when it 'senses' specific activity. There are already some birds in-game that swoop and dive near the cliffs, so why not add more? As for shelters, I don't see why we also can't develop tracking/trapping/hunting skills, added to gain extra food for donation crate rewards. These rewards cost in food are rather steep for new players. (We could finally eat more than rats and lettuce.) Could also find recipe's in villages to enjoy cooked food in the shelter. (odd we don't have a stove in the kitchen) And we could make leather packs/clothing if we upgrade to a sewing machine. (Heck, just to have bed covers would be great to see in the shelter... ha!) Could also have binoculars and scopes at places on the decks to "watch" migration/habitat patterns of animals across the water areas, in order to hunt better/increase skills. Same for recording seasons/moon/stars to know when to plant the right food if we find a farmers almanac in the villages. Best of all, build a fishing area, a large pulley system to use a net for fishing bundles of small fish, and fishing poles for large fish. And also use that lame non-broken boat to drop crab/lobster traps. Why do we have a smoke house with fish fillets in it if we can't use it to gather more food resources? Personally, I'd love to see gold panning at the shelter creeks. Upgrades would require knowledge of panning, and smelting from books in villages. Builds would develop the area to find a gold seam which could eventually be dug to produce more gold nuggets. Building smelting forges would force longer duration's to acquisition, so it wouldn't be over night gold like the antenna. This would be good though for level 13+ shelter add-ons, and definitely add to our very under producing antenna gold. Well, that's just me and my thoughts.... More activities in the shelter area would be great!

Teaming in solo will ruin this game. period.

meh, it's like any other hacker in games... they can't be bothered to keep to the rules of fairness. And most subscribe to the "war has no rules" motto. I think this could be curtailed with packs of wolves or wild dogs roaming the villages. And a family of bears or mountain lions in the forests/mtns. Woul also add swarms of bees and bats to the cliffs just to keep the camping snipers from sitting too long in one place. Any thoughts?? Can Vigor add wild, rabid, ferocious animals to the contest for survival? Or just to even the odds against teamers and campers... (edit: oops, sry, thot this was a Vigor forum. my bad)

It's time for a new map...

I was actually thinking this same thing. But with a twist... why not cross over to Dayz maps with a special series for a game crossover. Just run the Russian maps for a month or two. The two seem to combine play styles, and game elements. So it seems to fit that we could have those maps run in Vigor, but i know it's all about the coding. As it is, I just hate zombies so I won't ever play Dayz no matter how good it looks. But I know those maps look great.... we could use a new set for certain! What I really want to see in Vigor, are animals! We can battle large and small critters as we camp to long in one spot or travel in the forests. Wild dogs in the villages, or swarms of bees or bats on the cliffs. Would/could reduce campers at exits for sure. Just imagine a big bear coming for you at the exit too! lol.

    Wasted crowns

Yep, that's not the only waste of money from glitches... bathtubs and green, short pine trees are glitched also. You can walk/run into the trees and get "attached" to them. There is something really wrong 'cause when you try to free yourself with crouch or prone, your legs do some wild splits. Primarily you can't shoot when stuck, and you will be stuck for several minutes trying to get out. I've been killed this way and lost my boost cost, because it was near the first of the encounter, so the insurance and boost were absolutely wasted. I had no chance to fight back while stuck in place. I might as well have su1c1ded off a cliff. The bath tub was a little different. I could move around, but not shoot or jump out of the bathtub. So while in the tub, I got knifed to death. Again, this was at the first house clearing of the match for me, so I lost my boosts and benefit from paying for them since I could not fight back. What's the point of paying for these expensive coin? Because if you want the highest coin count for your dollar, you buy the $100 set. This is in essence paying for two medium cost games or one full game like COD with all the bennies. So why would I continue to drop money into this rather undeveloped game (meaning there's only 7 small maps all with plenty of glitches to lose money on, and no endgame content outside of the encounters while waiting for the shelter to level up)? Especially when the antenna is not producing enough for me to f2p further in the season than week 10? By week 20 we are gaining so little xp even after gathering tons of loot with upwards of 1k-1.5k xp each match (these are non-percentile, non-battle pass boosted numbers). All this just to get the non-battle pass goods. It really seems pointless when you want to get that crafting schema for a personal radar from one of the 10 possible military grade crates you get from basic leveling... and then your RNG for potential crate loot is not helping. (Creates disappointment for sure.) Was it worse before it went F2p?
