    Microphone, troubleshooting

Activate in Device Manager. Set as default in Windows 10 Sound settings. Mike test in Steam/Friends/Voice. Use Open mike in Steam but remember to use Caps Lock to push to talk in ARMA. Then you want to make sure the server you are on is voice-enabled, and that you are using the correct channel. Change channel to global, using / and then down arrow, to test. Only people in your group are going to hear you if you use group channel, and if you just joined a server you are probably not in a group at that moment! Hope that helps anyone that has the same problem in the future!

    Microphone, troubleshooting

I FIGURED IT OUT BROS. Don't know what I did differently. Definitely have to activate it in Windows Settings. Have to set it up under Steam/Friends/Voice. I think I may have made things difficult by setting a key in Steam for 'talk to push' along with ARMA's 'talk to push'.
  3. I am trying to get my microphone to work for ARMA mp. Loved the campaign, enjoying mp, but having to stop to type is a huge pain for comms. I am using a Blue Yeti USB mike, on Windows 10. It works. I have enabled it in Windows settings, and set is as default. I have gone into Steam and checked the necessary boxes under 'Voice' and Steam also picks up my mike. But it doesn't work in ARMA. Yes, I am pressing (and holding) caps lock to talk. And yes, the servers have voice chat enabled (others are talking). Any tips or suggestions? I have tried global, local, team, channels, doesn't appear to make any difference. There is no speaker icon next to my user name, when I press U. Thanks!
