    Except when you need to eject because your plane is on fire. Planes don't have engine failures, so if you have to land it anywhere that isn't an airstrip you're either out of fuel or doin' it wrong. :rolleyes:

  3. Is the Site still waiting on the Tornado? Ive been chomping at the bit waiting for it so I can do a re-skin of the Lynx, Puma (In hopes of adopting them into our addon pack.) and Typhoon for TFB.

  5. I've found a bug where if you shoot a missile off outside of the targeting computer, the missile isn't removed from the launch rail.

Looks done to me. ;D TFB has been creaming their collective pants over this, when they're not showering praises over Clafghan lol, the ground clutter looks phenomenal. Very natural.     The ACE G-force effect is way to sensitive; when you're HALO jumping in real life, you don't black out. (If you did, Skydiving would be a lot less popular and a lot more dangerous.) Not to mention the rip-cord takes too long to open. It should take two to three seconds at most, not a solid 10. ZO5d0_spJLw We actually had one of the guys, the one who shouted "Murrka!", blackout and die because he was not able to pull his chute. I was flying well below the aircraft's stall speed, 180-190kph nose up ~10-15 degrees, full flaps, to maintain altitude. Take these videos for example, the chutes all open in 3 seconds, no more. If you tried any of this in ACE, you'd pancake even if you pulled the moment you jumped. :) DevHeaven Ticket: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/27078

    Last I tested it, the missile lost steam beyond 700m. At about 1km the missile detonated, significantly under the target, not far enough but still :p, because it couldn't stay in the air. I did a study into the ranges of AA threats, both friendly and enemy, back in October. I was disappointed, to say the least. Not really a bad thing, because it works in my favor if I play Op4. :D Then again, my unit mates have to deal with it.

    Another thing is the Stinger. Its pitiful. Max effective range of 700m against a hovering helicopter...
  16. When I try to open O2's UV editor, I get a tab but no window. What gives? :confused: Edit: Never mind, it was in a weird state of limbo. Don't minimize the UV editor and then exit O2, I guess. I just HAD to post a thread about my problem. :rolleyes: Lock/Delete please. :padlock:

    You do realize that I did, in fact, make that video you just quoted... :rolleyes: I didn't word my statement as clearly as I thought, sorry. :o Mando has 3 missile fire-modes, top, "dir" and "grnd". ACE has 2 missile fire-modes, top and "dir". No problem, I have the same issues with the Mando Jav that you do.

    Stick, I can guarantee its a Mando issue. The ACE Jav doesn't have Direct/Ground, Mando's does. ;)

  20. One of my unit mates is having issues launching via six. It goes through the steps of launching, but ArmA never starts. He's using the latest six. This is the window he gets. This is all the info we've gotten so far on it. I'll ask him additional questions if you need.

    Wouldn't it be possible to just add an MFD to all the vehicles with laser designators? After all, the vehicles that have laser designators, have MFD panels anyways (Like the STRYKER RV, for example.). :p Edit: For those of you having issues targeting with the Javelin, watch this. :) f37BAjWen6U

    Just like in real life, the fins only gently suggests where the bomb should go. The flight path has to be close and the bomb needs to have enough time for the it to make corrections (IE, from high altitude). Also, Lasers make boxes on the hud, just like vehicles, so it should help you with targeting (If they're lasing a vehicle, look for a doubled up box ;) ). Edit The bomb also needs to see the laser. Obstructions are a major factor in this. /Edit It would be a big help to see some in depth documentation on this. :) Also, how do you change laser codes in the STRYKER RV?
