    I do remember something to that effect, so at the very least it would be possible to mod in like in SLX. But BIS will not put it in vanilla, which they have made abundantly clear.

    BIS has said (Numerous times) that dismemberment will not be a part of vanilla ArmA3, or any ArmA game for that matter. You won't change their minds.
  4. Right now the way it is set up (I think) is you enter between the front landing gear on the ground. The stairs/ladder isn't going anywhere, I'm making this thing as accurate as I can. I was thinking about having the entrance in the cargo bay, right behind the cockpit. I like the idea of having it at the base of the stars, though.

  7. I think there may be one. But I'm probably wrong. You could always try making one yourself (From scratch, bad things happen to people who copy things without permission in this community. Its VERY easy to tell.). ;) Also! Update. :) I added the little sloped bit on the rocket pod arms in front of the rocket engines. Reference this picture, ignore the... alien... Also worked a little on the rear landing gear, but mostly the stairs because the former is stupid. Reference this image for the stairs. I'm thinking about making the entrance in the cargo hold. What do you guys think?

  12. That right there is straight up Oxygen 2, because other programs are too expensive and/or too complicated for me to wrap my head around. ;) I keep putting off the rear landing gear because its dumb, so I'll start refining the ramp soonish. :p
  13. Slight update: Worked on the front landing gear well and the flapie cover things. Also UV mapped the glass, RVMAT still WIP, naturally.
  14. I just got this issue today, after UV mapping the glass of my Dropship (UD4L_glass_ca.paa), only I don't even get a glimpse of my model before it crashes. I tested Bulldozer to make sure that it wasn't my computer/the program with the BI sample models and they work perfectly. I'm at a loss. Edit: Now that I think about it, I haven't been in bulldozer for a while, so its probably something other than the texture. Edit2: I need to stop trying to fix my issues after I post. As it turns out, buldozer doesn't like "UD4L_glass_ca..paa".

    They did say that they were using what they learned from updating the netcode for ArmA 2 in ArmA 3. I don't remember where I read it, though.

    Amen. The "tactical pace" is the same as the combat jog in SMK animations, the only difference is the fact that the animation was motion captured by someone who was in the military. Hopefully more features of SMK animations will be "ported" over to ArmA 3, it adds a LOT of functionality and is really intuitive once you get used to it.

  22. What would be cool is if it were scaled to 1:50,000 so you could use a protractor to find grid coordinates. Here are some examples of US 1:50,000 scale maps.     You have to click the link AND enter your user information to "log on" to the site. It is incredibly easy to avoid.
