  1. Well if you want me to test things or something along those lines, and it's something you think I can do on my end, I'd happily join the effort in making this damn thing work. Alternatively, if I decide against the use of tobii eye tracker anymore, i'll buy myself a head tracking system and give the devs for acre2 my tobii eye tracker. I really wouldn't care. The only thing I would ask is that you guys is pay for shipping. I'd be sad to let the thing go, though... it's a nice little piece of equipment. However, at least then one of you guys can get a hand on this device and, provided a promise, you guys will attempt to fix the damn issue for everyone else XD. In addition, any good recommendations for head tracking software? Edit: After uninstalling and running the game successfully, I did try reinstalling the software and running the game. Seems to work just fine now. If I restart my pc, it seems to break it again. Reinstalling tobii fixes it though... for now.
  2. After uninstalling Tobii eye tracker, the game loaded just fine. I'm wondering if there's a "work around" method of getting tobii eye tracker to work while acre 2 is working. Any ideas?
  3. Kklownboy Tried turning off antivirus. UAC is on default. Brainslush: For the love of god don't tell me tobii can be a problem with this... Yes, I use Tobii Eye Tracker. However, I will note: I can use the mod and Tobii at the same time assuming the mod allows me to load into the game. If it is an issue with Tobii eye tracker, can you tell me what I may need to do to fix the problem? The game freezes, does not crash. I have to manually end the process. Yes, I've tried swapping around the mods. I wouldn't know anything about a memory dump. My memory in the task manager does get seemingly excessive though, but only between 40 and 50% of my system's memory.
  4. I have a very finicky issue with acre 2 which I cannot, for the life of me, fix. Essentially, upon loading into any map (which includes multiplayer, sp, editor, etc), at a specific point of loading the game seems to freeze. Step by step, this is what I see: Launch game. Join server/start up a map. Upon unit selection, hit ready. Map pops up, starts to load. Green bar on top usually fills up. Anyone in channel's voices cuts out. Anyone in channel's voices cuts back in, as if acre is off. Nothing follows, and Acre seems to turn off (probably from the Arma 3 client freezing), turning Acre off (yes, it is enabled). What I usually would see if the game launches beyond the freeze and successfully loads into the game: Launch game. Join server/start up a map. Upon unit selection, hit ready. Map pops up, starts to load. Green bar on top usually fills up. The screen quickly swaps back to the unit selection screen, then after a moment swaps back to the map loading screen. The game's sound cuts a few times. A little map picture/image/etc appears in the center as it swapped back, and there is a green bar going across that too. The map successfully loads, and I spawn in game. I've tried a few of these to resolve the issue I am having, and no it's not anything to do with not being able to hear anyone, nothing in game is an issue when I get in game. It's simply getting beyond loading the map that's the main issue. Here's a list of things I did that solved the issue at least 1 time, but seems to never fix it a second time (the one in blue fixed 2 or 3 times using this method, but never a solid solution): Uninstalled and reinstalled Teamspeak 3. Removed and reinstalled Acre 2 without any other steps involved. Removed, reinstalled, and removed file Acre2x32.dll file from the ts3 plugin folder after first time application of the dll plugins into the ts3 folder prior to loading Arma 3 up into the main menu. Removed file Acre2x32.dll file from ts3 plugin folder (same as above) without the reinstallation process prior to loading Arma 3 up into the main menu. Installed the same mod, without the deletion of x32.dll files, using steam workshop version, repository from arma3sync, and acre2 main website (initial). All installed properly in coordination with their respected methods. Here's a list of other things I have tried in the entire process: Verified game cache in steam. Re-installed Arma 3. Ensured the exe files of both TS and Arma 3 (including battle-eye) are being ran as admin. Ensured the exe files of both TS and Arma 3 (including battle-eye) are not being ran as admin. Ensured the exe files of TS is being ran as admin, and Arma 3 (including battle-eye) not being ran as admin. Ensured the exe files of Arma 3 (including battle-eye) is being ran as admin, and TS not being ran as admin. Re-installed Windows 10. Ran the game using different launching programs (ie steam, arma3sync, etc). Tried running x32 bit instead of x64 bit. Tried deleting both dll files upon loading up Arma 3. Turned off Acre 2 mod, turned it back on after fully loading into a game and closing the game to reapply mod. Let the game sit there in the frozen loading screen for 30+ minutes hoping it would load. Restarted PC. Deleted x64.dll file from ts3 plugin folder. Disabled and re-enabled Acre 2. System restore. With every instance of these issues being present, there are some repeating patterns I can note I've observed: This was an issue from day 1 of the utilization of the mod. It usually occurs after a PC restart, or after the PC sits there a few days. Every instance is the same: if the load-in fails on the loading screen, Acre seemingly deactivates and I can hear players, the client is frozen and I have to end the process to get out of it. Every instance is the same: if the load-in is successful, it will ALWAYS return to the unit selection screen for a brief moment, and the sounds of the game will cut in and out a few times. Then, it will swap back to the map screen and finish loading. Acre 2 will be on with 0 issues. .rpt files I've looked at are very consistent with the issue, and show this message: "CallExtension loaded: acre (D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\@acre2\acre.dll) [2.5.1.980]" or something very similar. Here's a few of those .rpt files condensed for anyone to view (Note: the file ends where the crash occurs. If you know how to read these, you'll know what I mean): I beg of anyone for suggestions, as I am literally tired of my efforts trying to fix this myself (and I'm pretty tech savvy). I've spent countless hours upon hours, which led up into weeks, and into months of dealing with this issue on a regular occasion. And recently, nothing has been working to fix my issues with this mod.
