    Update. I just ran over the journalist with the car and got the achievement this way. Very strange though.

    The journalist doesn't get into the car - he simply stands near the car but refuses to get in - and when brought to Nikos by foot the checkpoint also doesn't trigger. It's impossible to get the 'Peacekeeper' achievement this way. Anyone knows a solution to this?
