Arma crashes on launch after 1.68 update

Hey folks, I will start off by saying I'm running an Alienware17 gaming laptop, with Windows 7 home Premium 64bit, and NVIDIA Geforce GTX 860m graphics card. So I have been struggling with this whole crash on startup since the 1.68 update, I got the same error codes as the rest of you ( 0xc06d007e ). I tried everything I could think of messing with the parameters reinstalling the game, unsubscribing from everything in my workshop, deleting my profile, trying to get my laptop to dedicate my GeForce 860m card for the game... but to no avail, until now. I'm sure some of you, myself included, assumed by using the device manager to update the "HD4600 dedicated graphics card" would ensure you were running with the latest update. I finally noticed tonight that this wasn't the case at all. According to the driver details, less than an hour ago, it was last updated in 2013. So after several unsuccessful and painful attempts to manually update it, I finally found the golden ticket to solve my problem. I downloaded the intel Driver Update utility from the intel website (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html). Once I downloaded the utility, installed it, and rebooted my laptop, I once again checked the driver details to find my HD4600 dedicated graphics card is finally up to date (version 10.18.14.4578 as of 04-Jan-17). So naturally I decided to try and take Arma 3 for a test run on 32 bit, and OMG it lives! I decided to try my luck and try again with 64 bit parameters, and it also works! I really hope this possible solution helps everyone, or at the very least, most of you. Good luck!
