Regarding a Megalodon, In theory just scaling up the existing model would make a good Meg, but I have no idea if that is easy or even possible-I know nothing about modelling.

About the megalodon it may work but I don't know the difficulty, Recently I was making a gold bar so that my bank won't have money piles everywhere (Some shameless spoiler and advertisement here dammit!) I massively increased the size in blender, popped it into object builder and then it became gigantic apparently, The textures for the mouth might have to be refined since the megalodon has a gigantic mouth rather than it's shark counterparts.
But I'm just a beginner in blender, Haven't done much other than experimenting with wonky shapes and ridicules pyramids. But I guess I'm going off topic now :)

Once the shark is finished... Only I can hope for tigers, Cats (Il probably make the cats invincible if it ever existed and If I used it in my mission :P) Lions, Camels, And elephants! But it's too early :)
If someone tries to make a megalodon il probably thing the shark would be scaled larger but I'm probably wrong but yet again it's too early!
I can see this being a very popular mod for immersion guys and of course horror fans! (And a whole lot more people)

Oh this is marvelous! Can't believe I haven't saw this thread already!
This + a megalodon Addon = me not seeing the light for about 15 light years!
(I would imagine this mod + zombies and demons in which the player escapes in a boat through the sunset feeling happy that no more zombies will eat him only for a shark or megalodon to pop up and eat him and dive away!)

WHERE is the sign of TERRORISM in these two sites? Did the Muslims kill the Christians? Did the Christian cheered against the protesting Muslims and assaulted them? NO. I'm actually 12 :D It's a weird age for someone to discuss politics (I'm very interested in politics and wars despite me occasionally screwing up with my arguments) And have wished to be at least tested with WW2 Exams for quite a long time and instead I get greeted by how people lived in the 1918s :P
I rarely comment on politics on other threads but at this thread I some how lost self control and smashed the keyboard and ended up making quite a lot of mistakes. I usually spend my day in the forums looking at the modelling section of arma and or watching videos but I ended up here somehow.

Haha yeah that's my age :D It's definitely hard to gauge someone's age especially if they are in an 18+ game (I couldn't turn down the offer, I love this game so much!) Don't regret the stuff you said man, I hear them every day at school (FYI my class swore at grade one and swears right now at least 20+ times a day) so I'm used to them and I'm not really offended at those stuff since this is just a couple of words no biggie! I'm also really sensitive so pardon me if I came off quite weird.
I wasn't really biased on my side since my parents is Muslim (Dad) and Christian (Mom) I have a big interest in wars and history (Especially WW2) and the current situation in the Middle East saddens me but it's also interesting for me to research (my KSS teacher doesn't give a damn about the conflict and speaks about historical stuff, I just want WW2 education!) School is closing in which means I will definitely encounter all these stuff Immigration crisis, The crusade war thing, WW2-1 which I hope to learn and of course world politics! The info gathered in this thread and other threads is so helpful but when I replied to this thread I couldn't resist apparently typing out the words.
Il remember you and everyone during my graduation/Vet study since the Arma community itself is one of my favorite game of all time that I'm not scared to share my age like other forums are! :)

1. Yeah I haven't actually read the past pages after I posted that comment, I discovered that shortly after ending the European migrant crisis that there were quite a bit of people like this. I got my answer and I am happy :)
2. I'm actually quite young for an arma player , I got onto Arma shortly after being bored from fast paced games and decided to buy Arma 2 (First from DayZ until I played the campaign) 1 year ago then shortly after arma (for altis life then I realized my big mistake and jumped away very fast) but that's irrelevant I guess. I wouldn't post my age here. (Even though I have it on my profile) cause I would expect a large backlash especially in the off topic threads (I think this section is very interesting to be honest) while the Arma section is pretty laid back and friendly.
3. I guess that's true. Shame it doesn't work like that sadly.

I never said you were rude, I understand and I never ever expected a answer like "You are right" immediately. You may stand firmly by your position and I have zero problems with that, It's freedom of speech your entitled on your own opinion. Infact I consider you as a good guy cause you can put up good arguments and such and aren't shouting out pure hatred. My only reason why my feelings was hurt is the sudden aggression as I spent much time in this forums and notice so many good people, that I was confident that there actually could be a friendly argument. Like a good argument is like this:
"I don't like immigrants" says person one
"I don't agree but I respect your opinion but here is my thought (Insert points)" says person two
"I respect your opinion but here is why I don't agree with yours (insert points)" says person one
That's the argument I expected, but I was wrong. I shouldn't have been naive.

I actually don't really mind what he said as I know he is angry from this situation but at least showing respect would suffice. And I was just saying my opinion and left the discussion until he suddenly attacked me. I'm not agreeing on his post due to his aggressive tone and how he doesn't realise ISIS is not a true Muslim for bombing Mecca (Who in the right mind calls themself "Muslim/Christian/Jew" then proceeds to bomb Mecca?) and I respect your opinion.
I agree about the lack of censorship and I'm not complaining about censored porn sites on my country (I mean why would I even search for it) and I'm not coming to britain only for the green grass, I worded it wrong, I'm coming there so I can be a veterinary and live somewhere that the majority speaks english. I speak very bad arabic actually and read only transliterations instead of full blown arabic. I did considered the weather actually and I like it, even if it gets too hot. Pretty much me being a veterinary there is perfect cause of different animals I can help and rescue while in Kuwait only cats and dogs are seen frequently, Camels are far away though.

I was more referring to satire programmes which tend to mock different religious beliefs but usually refrain from outright insulting someone's faith. And it's of course also fair use of freedom of speech to criticise this satire. I don't mind anyone coming here really, quite the contrary, as long as the existing law is followed.

Ah yes Satire programmes, to be honest I never watched TV for years and solely rely on my Laptop and youtube for some funny videos. I don't really like/hate satire programmes as long as they make people happy then I'm fine with it :) The TV in the living room is just for news watching for my parents.

Also, UK weather is REALLY weird compared to elsewhere. We had a soaking summer but we've got a roastingly hot September!
Soaking summer? I thought I escaped the boiling hot Middle East! but the snow should make up for it even though it's freezing il play with snow until I die of hypothermia or starvation. :P
Oh and I forgot to mention good internet, finally out with the damn 100-200 MS with my router (And pretty much 2% PC gamers)

Good point. Western Europe is a good place to migrate to:
1. For highly qualified people or people who can fill certain niche jobs. (Geriatric nurses in Germany for example.)
2. People who can deal with our set of beliefs and way of life. Freedom of speech and religion for example seems to be a conflicting value for certain religious or otherwise extremistic people. When it comes down to Islamic immigrants in particular, things like the Mohammed cartoons or satire about Islam (and other religions) might offend some. These people don't have to like that but they have to accept the fact that this is protected by freedom of speech. Or, pardon my harsh words, they can go fuck right off because they are definitely wrong here.

I actually will partake as a veterinary in the UK since I speak english very well and stuff. And I usually don't speak in a arabic accent and have a fair british accent for some reason. (I know you aren't replying to me but I thought il just share my intentions)
I really don't care if they insult other religions in TV, I may be quite disappointed and switch to another channel but I won't go outside and start protesting and cause mayhem. Freedom of speech is okay with me and I accept the fact that I can't do anything to remove it (Nor do I want to) and all I can do is change the channel and or just stay disappointed for 3 seconds then done I'm going to move on my daily life.
I mean if someone sees their country/religion being insulted some might be disappointed and just continue on, some may get really pissed in which I agree they just have to leave. And some may just laugh along and of course there would be that one person who don't really care.

It's okay, you can come to Europe, don't worry. These people are just not used to immigration.
But mind you: if you come just for the green grass you might be quite disappointed. There are a lot of things in life besides the green grass, and judging from what you write you might not like them. So maybe in that case you should reconsider your dreams.
People just tend to have the wrong expectations sometimes.

Actually yes it's my dreams since I was a toddler, I always wanted a place that isn't filled with sand and I like the UK not only for green grass but for everything else, I plan to become a veterinary once I finish school and go to britain to help animals since the sunny weather and also the snow is pretty cool for me while in Kuwait you just get burning hot weather. Not really my big dreams just my goals (Apparently I should have worded it better, my apologies) I'm pretty bad at using proper english words and only know how to spell really good since in my british school they crack down on english quite good. My actual dream is being a veterinary, helping animals and living a peaceful life in Britian.
And people not being used to immigration I agree but the plain attitude of Vilas (Even since 2015 while reading the European migrant crisis) is pretty disheartening (I know the world isn't full of rainbows but it's quite depressing that people are still like this) My mom is Christian and my dad is Muslim, they don't hate each other at all and never once in my life have I heard anyone in my country insulting Christians. Heck my school is filled with British Christians and they are not being treated bad.

Yes I know but sometimes I go way too over board and end up causing quite a bit of scene when this happens, So I just sometimes remain quiet or furtherly not reply to a convo to avoid having everyone angry and or attracting moderation to the scene which will go very bad for the thread creator.
The "Most" part may have been worded incorrectly by me as I mean when i usually view comments on controversial topics like these in news sites about terrorists. Most of them are full on hating and started scenes in which it ends up with a couple of guys defending and a couple of guys hating.

I'm not really german nor have I visit Germany, But I'm seriously sorry to anyone who lost their family/loved ones and my best wishes to them.
But one thing I seriously don't understand is why most Europeans seriously hate islam (Not referencing to you), even though the goddamn terrorists are not true Muslims (When people say this, The most common response I hear is the overused false verse)
I know it is really sad watching other people die on your own country/other country but showing no tolerance of Islam? That's not even the right thing to do, the country I live in, Kuwait never did anything to Christians/Hindus and I never seen hate crime. Terrorism is extremely low despite kuwait not discriminating other religions in which the terrorists hates. They even had the guts to attack the city of Mecca, No one ever realizes that the city is holy and very important. Yet the media still says they are Muslims
And Islamic invaders? Goddamn label them as terrorists not Islamic invaders (if your referencing to refugees, then that's really sad. If you were them you of course want to get out of a mess and try to live peaceful again, take an example from the Iraq invasion of kuwait, Thousands of civilians fled to neighboring countries and they welcomed them with open arms)

Okay so I apparently forgotten about this thread and I thought I posted my results, woops.
So after fine tweaking and lowering the render distance to 500 I can finally run Altis in 60 FPS and 40 in medium battles while in tanoa I run it in 40 FPS without any battle going and when a battle happens 20-30 FPS!

My graphics setting is pretty much everything low, nothing in high just low.

Okay so after redownloading apex i get better fps than last time when i downloaded it. but horribly bad that i cant play the campaign.
Downloaded it again and played for two hours and could not hit anything in the campaign. In the editor i have around 40 fps rather than 60. in the campaign 10 fps while in multiplayer 6.
Virtual arsenal 50-60.
All showcase missions 20.
So i guess there is no way to remove Tanoa since i cant refund anymore cause i played in two hours. Im searching everything i can to find that goddamn issue that is persisting in arma even though when i dont have apex im not lagging horribly.
I hope there is a solution now since i cannot play arma permanently unless i get a new computer which is unlikely since i got a school to pay.

Yes-So you can buy Apex or not, but it will not change your performance in any way.
Okay thanks! Il go and buy apex tomorrow as I have no access to my laptop and hope for the best. Maybe I should wait for the summer sale? It's in a few weeks probably.

Aye, This was proven when I went onto altis my frames dropped severely.So (among other things) you 're saying that having "Tanoa" on your drive directly affects the gameplay i.e. on "Altis"?

Ah so was it the problem with the new update? Apparently when I launched my mission with a couple of AI with all settings on low I had a minimum of 18, without it I had around 40-50Tanoa doesn't affect your performance simply by sitting on your hard drive.
Just don't play on it if your system can't handle it.
Any new performance problems you might have aren't caused by Tanoa or Apex, but the game update that came it with. And it's the same for everyone, whether you bought Apex or not.
This is definitely weird as when I launched my mission with only a couple of AI (6 or less) I had a gigantic frame drop. Without it I have quite high FPS.Having Tanoa installed should not affect fps in any way.I thought you meant using the map was impossible as it is quite heavy on performance.But just having it installed wont make any difference if you are not actually playing on it.

That's actually true, We are lacking any good SP missions or Campaigns but literally the majority is CO-OP or some require mods (which I'm totally fine with if it isn't unnecessary like CUP mods for Arma 2 missions)
Indeed there is not a lot of vanilla content but I know someone is out there making something good :D sometimes the missions just don't have anything proper, No dialogue, No briefing and heck no explanation!
Pretty much the newest best campaign IMO in the steam workshop is the CWC campaign for arma 3. Even though I haven't played CWC it looks really good!
It's really annoying to not have any proper good Singleplayer content but we all have to know that even making a scenario is a challenge so I have my biggest respect for anyone who undertake this task!
