You said opt out of any branches. That is not possible. you have the dev branches or the normal branches so you can not opt out of "any". I was on dev. branch 1.54 as everybody else. Because MAC/Linux is beta. But now we have fixed that and can play.

Well you can tell steam that you want to participate for the betas. Then in the list ARMA ist called ARMA (development). But nevertheless it is not downloading the 1.58 Strange! I found out! you have to deactivate the BETA. Then you get the newest update.

Shit how did you guys got the dev 1.58 to run. I am on Mac and Steam won't update

Are you possible to update? I am still at 1.54 Steam is configured to be developmental for ARMA and ARMA should be updated first before Game is started

Same problem on Mac: Data file too short 'C:\Users\andreas\Library\Application Support\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\expansion\addons\languagemissions_f_exp.ebo'. Expected 269795320 B, got 1474475 B The Problem is that Apex and the other updates were installed automatically. ARMA worked before on my Mac i7 2.4 GHz with 16GB RAM and OS 10.11.6. The issue might be that Apex need dev 1.6 I guess and the you can not disable the autoupdate. I also tried to reinstall everything but it didn't worked.
