Is it a good idea to put civilians in GAIA? I don't want to use ambient civilians or other scripts to make civilians move around, would having them in GAIA make them walk around decently? -

I have a question about ACE's medical Module. My unit commander insists that he has used settings in the medical module to prevent players from dying at all. He says players will fall unconcious but never die. Is there really a way to do that? -

Oh, we definitely use those. I'm guessing its not going to be fixed since the dev is gone. I don't see how that thread answers my question though. That thread is for requesting Addons to be made, I'm just asking for the location/link of already made addons. -

My unit's been getting a bit tired of just shooting eastern miltia and russians all the time. We are planning on getting Lieghts Opfor once more(we dropped it because we thought it was causing server crashes). However are there any other packs or sets of opfor or independt units available that will work well with RHS? -

Its probably not because we tell members to not update their mods unless told and we don't have anysort of automated system. We do know that the Cannon of the F16 is super laggy. -
I have question for anyone who runs servers. Recently my unit has been having trouble with low FPS across all players. We thought it was due to Chenarus Winter taking too much resources or just being strange but when we moved to Australia we still continued to have very low FPS while walking around buildings. Our officers now think that the FPS issues are due to the mods we have. Right now we are running -ACE -MCC -Vcom Driving -RHS Escalation -TFA Naval Special Warfare -CUP Terrains Full -Boeing Soar MH-47E -Mission Enhanced Little bird -CBA -FIR AWS -F16C -C-130 Variants pack -TFAR -ShacktacHud @sthud only -Dega Parachutes -Underseige patches -Backpack on Chest -Chenarus Winter A3 -Australia -Kunduz Afghanistan Is it possible that one of the mods we use has some sort of major efficiency issue that would be heavily dragging us down? Because we have looked at the server during missions and with only 13 players we are having less than 10 FPS in small towns while the server is running at 5% capacity

I'm not sure because I don't have access to the server. I'm just in charge of making Missions. Our server owner thinks that the server is a relatively high end type though. I'll ask him if maxMem and hyperthreading are on, do those increase performance significantly? -

This map has some beautiful terrains and cities. However I am having an issue with MCC and GAIA. When I spawn units in from MCC they spawn and spaz around in the ground And when I enter them into GAIA the units do not do their normal GAIA routines and just stay there. Also When we place vehicles onto the map we have issues with all the vehicles getting stuck into the ground too. Never mind.... Turns out the server admin forgot to turn on the actual australia map server side! I have no idea how we were even able to load onto the server! -

If I am using the script version of VCom, does the server need to have the files or is it ok if the mission folder has it, because there is one folder that says install me but I cant do that as I just make the missions. -

Does anyone know how to use the EVAC option? I've tried placing waypoints down on freelanding and stuff but nothing happens. -
I am trying to think of a way to create an elite AI controlled fireteam or squad in some of the missions I am making for my milsim unit. I want them to be significantly better and for this difference to be very noticeable to players but at the same time not make them too powerful. Our server uses both ACE and MCC. In order to make units more unique I have tried increasing their accuracy and other skills but there is little difference and I think MCC may be overwriting any changes I make. In addition I have tried giving some squads the heavy russian armor however the wound system of ACE means that the difference is not very significant, especially at close range. Are there any AI scripts I could put into the mission file that will only activate on specific units and make them significantly more deadly to players? I have considered using Vcom but It seems to work on all units and makes the AI a bit hyperactive.

Well I would like them to be a bit more active in taking cover and returning fire. Also using MGs a bit more effectively. I would be ok with making them more resistant to damage. Mainly I just want a certain group of enemies to be stronger than other AI units . -

So I tested out your script and it doesn't seem to be working as well as I hoped. They seem more accurate at first but then they stop being accurate soon after. In addition they die as easily as before. I tried changed the script to make it so they only took 1% damage but they still die quickly. Maybe your script doesnt work with ACE? I think its because ACE has individual limb damage and bloodloss while vanilla has HP. -

Oh I see. So directly editing the accuracy with scripting is much more effective. Outside of custom scripts, would you recommend any Vcom or ASR style scripts as long as they can be only placed on certain squads? -

I appreciate your response but I am not trying to ask about real life or anything. I just want a group of enemies that would be a step up from the usual because normally the infantry portion of the unit will easily cut down entire squads of enemies with minor injuries unless fired upon by static weapons. Well the thing about MCC is that it comes with GAIA which I use on AI squads. MCC has a seperate set of soldier traits which I think are set globally. Whenever I try setting the individual skills with sliders (via Eden enhanced) it does not create a major difference so I think it is overwritten. If I set "disable aim error" soldiers do become very accurate. Thanks for this script. While I'm not sure it is what I want for a unit, It definitely looks good for a single commander or officer in order to make him tougher since high officers have an annoying habbit of standing up and getting mowed down with M4s. However this won't make them act differently other than accuracy and not dying. If I gave it to a squad the players might think they are bugged. -

Hmm, I wonder in MCC there are options to change the accuracy of AI units. Is this a global feature that overwrites settings? For example if I give a sniper a high accuracy with EDEN will MCC overwrite it? -
The pbo was not created with 3eden enhanced but I use it. Renaming the pbo to mission.Map.pbo does not work. Turns out according to this old thread https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/188150-can-i-open-2d-in-eden/ You need to add a player in the 2D editor.

How do I get the AI mortars to fire when they are linked into GAIA? They turn to face the enemy but even when set at 1 minute they never fire. -

Also here is another problem I noticed. Ever since Eden came out this happens when I make an IED in eden.
