    1.54 Fatigue is too Unrealistic

    Weapon sway is straigt up copy from DayZ SA. But not sure which one is worse, since once I found out about it, I stopped playing 1.54 completely. Wait until modders fix that.
  2. A simple fact that you compare it with arcade games like battle field and counter strike is enough to discredit your entire post. You have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Are you telling me in real life I can not carry 2 guns on me? Seriously go back to CS GO forums preaching, because you lost me on counter strike as "example" for realism. Counter strike unlike Arma 3 doesn't even have weapon sway.
  3. No, this system is gonna force palyers to look for other games or mods to disabled this stupid nonsense that this patch introduced. You can't have realism and still enjoy the game behind the computer. It is either fun or not. This stamina is a type of realism that isn't fun.

    People forget that arma 3 isn't real life military simulator and the year isn't even 2015. It's fricking 2035! Where is your "realism" now? It is FUTURISTIC game, not realistic. And it is not some virtual reality simulator here. It is a frickin game and it should be enjoyable. If people won't enjoy it, your uber realism fails and this patch proved it. People do not enjoy not being able to carry heavy guns. Why then they are in a game? You say dump gear in a car? Well you have to REACH that car first, and how are you gonna do it slow walking with broken legs for 5 km because your machinegun is too heavy for you to sprint. If people want realism, go outside and play realism, join the army, go shoot people in middle east. Arma 3 is about the game, which is realistic compared to other games and fun and playable at the same time. And people forget this. This new system should at least be possible to turn off and brought back to legacy system (if one wishes so).

    RC 1.54 (Nexus Update) testing - feedback

    Who cares about KOTH? It's just a big deathmatch in style of CS;GO. Die, respawn, rinse and repeat. Though I never kinda liked vanilla Arma 3 and their fatigue system, but the current one is much worse (it seems). I bought Arma 3 for the mods essentially. Server admins disable fatigue all the time, so it's not like there was an issue in KOTH about being unbalanced due to lack of fatigue (or was there even fatigue? don't remember, played only once). As someone mentioned, now the sway is on par with DayZ Standalone, you stand perfectly still, not fatigued, yet your fricking range finder moves in all directions and it is impossible to use it.
  7. Would live in that. Seems cool. However, as a non-designer, just observer, here's my advice: interiors are too polished, try to give them some "age" if you know what I mean, will make them more realistic. Like crack in a wall, or a stain here and there. Maybe changing colours, no idea, again, not a designer. Cheers.

    Thanks for letting me know, I didn't know what FFV means either, at first I thought it is fast forward vehicle or something related :D but apart from that, I doubt it deserves its own thread. I am much more concerned with actual content that this patch brought to us.

    RC 1.54 (Nexus Update) testing - feedback

    Registered just to complain. Yes, it is not about realism anymore, but making soldiers into criples. It's 2035, all of them are enhanced (obviously), why can't they run with a big gun anymore and then stop, pick up rangefinder and look straight instead of swaying it in all 4 directions like a madman? I always liked realistic, even hardcore gameplay, but this update broke something which was working just fine. I have no idea who tested this in RC branch and why did they gave a green light to this (it's not like they didn't have a say or anything). Eitherway, hopefully the developers of the mod I am playing will disable this nonsense just like they did with original (prior) arma 3 fatigue system. Still though, even for default Arma 3 game, this new stamina system is not just "unpolished" but seems like nobody tested it at all and just added few equations and said "well hopefull it will fly" to the community. It should at least be tweaked more. It's the only game I play. :mellow: using a smiley face to show that I am not angry just pissed. It is happening same story as with DayZ SA, devs broke the game, introduced terrible weapon sway, now year later, they did it again.
