  2. Hiya all.

     

    Sorry for asking a possibly stupid question but haven't been able to scrounge up an answer anywhere.

     

    Is it possible to outfit the M2 HMG with a scope or some such? I'm mostly thinking about the vehicle-mounted ones like on the HMVV (or M113).

    One of the players in my group would prefer something like 3.4x on them and since I've been curious as well, figured I could ask here.

  3. That's a really awesome way to do it, I look forward to seeing it.

     

    I do have a question about deaths during missions.

    It seems like that most of the time when we play, we just go unconscious and drop to the ground instead of dying.

    It takes a very, very, very high amount of firepower to even kill one of us off and I was wondering if there was a way to fix that.

     

    We play with ACE3 and when we play other missions we die quite easily.

    It just makes the sessions much more tense when you can't just use nine bandages and an epinephrine to revive someone who should have died already.

     

    Otherwise we still very much enjoy this and it's great :D

    Just about to get Takistan and Chernarus maps so we'll have much fun with those as well!


  4. They do seem to have the names they are supposed to have.

    I did remove the RHS items from the mission.sqm I got from zafjr and adjusted the class item numbers alongside the id so it fit with the numbers.

     

    I really haven't done anything except removing the addon stuff we don't have.

  5. Yep just remove/replace the RHS vehicles at the and replace them. (all of the MOB vehicles cept for the littlebird are RHS)

     

    I removed the RHS vehicles from mission.sqm and have managed to load the mission into the editor.

    Your placement of things is pretty nice :)

     

    However once again I run into the issue of the vehicle noticeboard not working, neither does the cargo-net and the laptop.

    Not quite sure what causes that.


  6. Thanks a lot for the reply, it did the trick and we simply had to set the relevant setting to false :)

    We do seem to have problems with making it work in Bornholm as well.

     

    Moving the buildings and spawn signs to the southern end of Bornholm seems to work in the mission editor, but during preview many of the buildings simply aren't present while the static vehicles are visible.

    Only some of the signs are present as well, and none of them can spawn anything at all.

     

    I do apologize for what is probably very newb questions, but we simply haven't done anything like this in ARMA 3 before.

    Me and a very small group of friends have been enjoying DCG significantly on Altis.

    Currently we're trying to make it work in the Bornholm map but since we're pretty new to this, it's going slowly.

    Another poster have suggested using the Mission Editor, so we're trying with that for now (basically, we're not screwed yet in that regard).

     

    My main question is, if it's possible to make Independent faction vehicles available at the vehicle spawn sign.

    Primarily we want to use the MBT-52 Kuma, but my highly newb-ish attempts at adding it to the userconfig for west didn't work (I guess that's kinda duh).

    Is it possible to use the tank as players or does it simply not work with the system in DCG?

     

    Thanks a ton in advance and even more thanks for having made this, it has made our sessions into more relaxed but still highly entertaining evenings :D
