have you tried the memory allocator, updated your drivers etc. As personally i have no issue with this release, 60 Fps in game.
I play with the fix given by Dwarden, Tbb4BI and last nvidia driver, it works but with stutter, before patch 1.58, I had 30-45 fps average and now 23-25 with stutter ..... in combat situations.
I hope this is not the only fix that we will get regarding this issue. Before this patch, I was using a custom allocator, this it is now impossible. And there are many who still have this problem.

I don't know if this is the same issue as the "low fps" but when I get in game now not even 5-10mins the entire texture of my character model and things around me go bizarre which causes a huge fps drop. This wasn't until the recent patch. I usually get a solid 50+ in KOTH and 60+ on my Life servers. Here is a video of the issue. I've tried all the suggestions here and nothing works. Below there is a video of me running fine for about 20seconds of the video then you will notice that my textures seem to refresh then my fps just goes to nothing. I've tried multiple settings etc. (Just to be noted, I've never had graphical or crash issues with Arma 3).
Unfortunately it's the same problem described here, you're in the right place with this.

Try giving the latest TBB4 a shot. I'm playing for over an hour now (SP) without any performance issues. Not saying this is a solution but it's working for me so far and might just be good enough as a workaround until BI finds out what's really going on. I'm using the precompiled binary version 4.4 Update 3.

I have about 4 hours of gameplay with the fix given by Dwarden and no more FPS drop, anyway not so dramatic drop, it is not the performance as with the Fred41`s allocator; tbb4-bi is working but with lag. I trust in the BI guys, I am an ArmAholic from the beginning and I know well that it will be a solution soon.

I tried this fix, exactly as written on that topic with the same result: after 15 minutes gampley FPS drops below 5, unplayable for me. However, this fix is posted in a topic with a server problem, I have this problem in SP, like many others here.

Ok, I tried this "fix", and after 15 min. of gameplay same problem occurred... 5 FPS ...
probably working just for servers...

Same issue for me, I tried in the editor with one player without problems, and then with a few AI, after 10 min frames droped to 3 or 4 FPS.

Turning without a weapon? Then it's an engine thing. When turning with a weapon there should be at least step sounds...
No step sound when it is equipped with handgun, it is a step sound only with rifle. I tested in the editor: one unit with a P07 and an MX.

It seems that no turning sound for player, as I recall it is one of the features of DF-Eden, can anyone confirm?

I made the following changes
- You are a doctor friend of yours engineer.
- The island has only infantry and civilian vehicles.
- The cost of repairs, and purchase information above.
- The corpse has a UAV terminal.
- Perhaps buy loot from civilians.

Sorry to ask again-is nobody else having the issue with ASR_AI that enemies just cannot hit you? Like 50 shots at close range will all miss? Dont know what to do-I have just gone back to vanilla ai :(
Change the setting for AI skill in userconfig / asr_ai3 / asr_ai3_settings_ss, from 1 to 0:
asr_ai3_main_setskills = 1; // Override AI skills based on their unit type (faction, training etc.; 0 - disabled, 1 - enabled)

*The high pitch cricket sound it kind of annoying.
Well, maybe you have not traveled through Greece, to hear the sound of the cricket all day ... but you're right, in this case it's too "high pitch"

I looove to play Pilgrimage on Chernarus map, I added another 20 places on the map and thus increases the playing time, it is the only mission that I play in singleplayer mod; thank you @rydygier and Happy New Year to all.

What do you think about the sound of the wind turbines, they are meny in Altis and they make no sound; lack of immersion in this regard.

I agree! Don't give up on this.This is the best ai mod I have used-and i have used them all.It works perfectly for me,and a few bugs are to be expected at the start.Most people seem perfectly happy with what you have done,and if there are issues with mulitplayer then just declare it a singleplayer only mod.There are a lot of people who only play SP and this mod is just too good to be abandoned! :D

Aight, I checked on the interior sounds. They work, but might be a bit quiet and aren't audible over a great distance.
Check this: Use a pistol, e.g. the p07, and go in third person. Then shoot inside a building, should be very noticable :)
Well, I checked as you say, but it works only in third person, in first person I hear only the "outdoor echo" as loud as the gunshot; and even if the interior sound would hear more slowly (this would not be a problem) but the problem is that in the first person is heard as if I were outdoors, it does not seem right. (I don`t like to play in the third person at all) :P
I love this sound mod, is awesome; but if you could solve this problem, it would be perfect, thanks :)
