hey TeTeT, is there a way to use the catapult/arresting cables with say - the F/A18-E/F in a locally hosted server (not dedicated)? currently only the host can use those two action while the joining player doesn't have any option. is there some module to be synced with the players? or those actions only work on dedicated sever? Thank and keep up the good work. -

wallyschmo, are you using the 3DEN editor? the 3D editor has an issue with helos/jets spawning in >0 altitude. on the stable branch, placing MELB on the Atlas LHD, Nimitz and the little helipads with wheels works fine when just setting the height in the bottom left of the unit info in the editor (near the compass). -

I think I've tried the no fuel option but the choppers just spawn with the rotors already spinning so they bounce a little and spool back down. for jets this is worse as they start with some momentum and move. also for some choppers the gear is also up so they drop on their belly. -
happened to me as well.

not only still using the AFM but almost exclusively (SFM only used with non supported choppers from mods). at least with the small-medium choppers (xH9,xH6 MELB and UH80) the AFM is awesome (the AAF helos and the CUP MH53E also works good). the huron is a little too easily going into VRS so it requires a more stable flying style. the AFM makes you "feel" the weight of your cargo/passengers, weather and RPM, and overall makes flying much more interesting from the SFM which allows for insane maneuvers and perfect hovers. as for taxing and rolling over- taxi your chopper slower. you can't expect a narrow chopper with a tail wheel to handle a 180deg turn in 30kmh - especially with ARMA lower gravity value (at least with a stick with a rudder capability or pedals - haven't used keyboard since OFP or early ARMA1). rolling over is not an AFM issue (SFM choppers also explode and bounce on impact) and AFM at least lets you make a more realistic autorotation. there's no need to disregard people who worked/s a ton of hours on those features, there's no need to talk to them like they leave those issues out of laziness.

Hello Burnes, is there a command for the LCAC and/or LCU (in the editor) to spawn in an "inflated" and "loading" mode? so in a beginning of a mission the LCAC will be ready to be mounted on and not swing around with the waves... Thanks! -
yes, for the rest of the choppers the commands from page 27 works (with 1).

congrats on the official release of the vehicle pack! one question to audiocustoms, after calming down and folding choppa's I've remembered the picture of the folded CH53E with your new animation. can you share the command for it? I've tried the following to no avail: _xtype = [this,1] execvm "\CUP\AirVehicles\CUP_AirVehicles_CH53E\scripts\pack.sqf" and _xtype = [this,1] execvm "\CUP\AirVehicles\CUP_AirVehicles_CH53E\scripts\CH53E_fold.sqf" Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply, Right now the mv22 actually has a fold option in the action menu, but is there a command like the ones below from A2 so the chopper will spawn in a folded mode? nul=[this,1] execVM "\ca\air2\mv22\scripts\pack.sqf"; nul=[this,1] execVM "\ca\air\Scripts\AH1Z_fold.sqf"; nul=[this,1] execvm "\ca\air2\UH1Y\Scripts\fold.sqf"; Thanks.

hello Chairborne, first of all great effort on this extensive project and good luck. i have a small question, is the animation of the US Navy Choppers for folding/packing their rotor blades available in the beta vehicle pack? if so what is the command for the init box for the chopper to spawn in a folded state? in case the animation is not present, will they be available in the actual release? i'm talking about the AH1Z, MH60, CH53, MV22 and the future UH1Y Thanks.

sorry if it was already asked but, is there a way to place a chopper of a jet on an object (say an LHD deck) above ground level without it being in a "flying" mode? right now every chopper or jet spawns with the gear up and engine on even without a crew inside. Thanks.
