if you are using it on a Dedicated Server * at your house* Make sure you have opened up the correct Ports on your router and Modem and your firewall If not it will not work. Also Make sure that TCP/UDP are both opened on router/modem and firewall I have a dedicated Server at my house 2 to be exact and 1 of them is just for hosting arma 3 servers

First off Thank you for taking your time and helping me with this issue, as im sure its probably something really simple im missing but for the love of god can not figure it out. Alright So im trying to host a Basic Altis Life Server on my Dedicated Server box at home. * im new to Hosting life and Learning new things as i get this figured out* So I got the server to launch and running, But when I join i get stuck "setting up client, Please wait" i have been waiting for about 5 hours this morning, Till i got curious and clicked respawn and then i could get inside of the Game with no problems. but on the SQL database It will not create any kind of entry what so ever. I tried using navilite and HeidiSQL and Neither are allowing entries. I know its connecting to the server ArmA and SQL because i can log in to the game. But It wont input anything :/ Ive tried Changing Usernames and Passwords Ive tried Changing between 127.0.0.1 and localhost and neither work. So Im not sure whats going on :/ *update 1, I checked RPT files and its not connecting to server for whatever reason * ports are forwarded and Firewall has been opened I can let someone remote into the Server under my Supervision with Teamviewer, and if the problem is solved. I can Give a Small Tip. and If you decide to join the Community You Will also Get Donator Rewards and Status :) I have tried everything I possible Can But For some reason either Im just Overlooking something So Simple. or its something little more complicated. * things i have tried * Tried using Navilite SQL Tried Using HeidiSQL Tried Changing between 127.0.0.1 and Localhost/localhost Tried Changing Username and Password I checked the extdb.config file 1000000000 times and saved it i tried 3.4x Framework, 4.0,4.1,4.4 and 4.5 Framework with all the same issues. ive tried Another Servers Mission Files and Server Side files * its a friends that he let me used to see if its My Files or something else* And still did not work. Ive tried uninstalling and Reinstalling MySQLServer and MySQL Software and resetting everything back up. * System Specs* Windows server 2012 Database edition 32gbs DDR3 Ram ECC 250Gb SSD dual Processers @ 2.2ghz 8 cores in total I have a Teamspeak channel if you would like to Join and help me out little faster then replying on threads shadygaming.custom-gaming.net
