Continuing to report things for when he comes back - Just noticed the GBU-38 JDAM is not guided by GPS/INS system aboard the air frames but only from lasers. Tested with the A-10C / F-35

I have used it in multiplayer servers without this issue; though so far only with a low number of people in it.

Hey guys, found another issue while making a Weapon list. Surprised no ones noticed it: The GBU 31-32-38 (JDAMS) are all the same bomb (Looks like the 31s). No matter if you spawn them via USAF Missile box or on the airframes themselves they all look like the same bomb instead of being differentiated by size due to the increased payload between them. On top of this they create the same size explosion no matter the difference in payload. The only difference is the amount of damage between the bombs. Also, I notice we have the option of using the GBU-28 5000lb bunker buster due to being able to spawn in via Missile Box system in editor, but we have no air frame that uses it in the mod. The F-35 spawns its smaller comparison (GBU-24), but nothing spawns the 28. I noticed the B-2 Spirit is has a Bunker Buster load out, so I would figure that would spawn them, instead it spawns the JDAMS (Says CBU-38s, look like 31s) of which i'm not sure qualify as bunker busters. On another note, I was just curious about some of the load out options. Such as why the F-16 can carry the 2000lb GBU-31 but not its lighter versions the 32 or 38. As well as the F-35 having no option to carry only one 32 but has to carry two on a pylon. Edit - Addition: Also it appears you cannot run GPS/INS missions on the B-2, even with two people inside. The gunner has no access to the GPS system and cannot lock on to the one placed on the ground, the pilot has no way of dropping bombs unless the gunner ejects but then the pilot can't lock onto anything because he doesn't have a gunner. Tried with the GBU-57 B-61 GBU-38s. Pilot could lock on but gunner could not, when gunner ejects pilot loses ability to lock onto GPS/INS. ` No criticism intended. Just noting some bugs and asking a couple questions. I still very much love your mod. I bring these up for any potential problems in multiplayer for visual reference toward the bombs. If this is intentional let me know Keep up the good work guys!

Still a great mod guys, having a bunch of fun. Just wondering about an issue that might be entirely on my own. Am using ACE also so after reading this thread I will go back and try again. In any case, my issue is with the ALCMs on the B-2. Just wondering if you have these functional as when I dropped them I had to manually lock on (T and R weren't working) nor did I get an option for GPS guided. When I did launch they both just glide to the target slowly instead of taking off like a missile. Can anyone confirm or deny. Once again, will mess with ACE and retry, will update once done.

Just got to use the F-35 in a battlefield setting (MCC mission) and had a great time with it. Although I am curious as to why they do not have any AGM-65s or such. Couldn't lock on to any sort of ground vehicles with the 154s or 88s. Just used SEAD and then hung around waiting for others to give me cords for a GBU drop.
  7. Just deleted everything and redownloaded both your mod and the AWS again. Still missing .model
  8. Hi, I am having a bit of trouble. Every time I try spawning an F-16 with this new update I keep getting that im missing ".model" Have downloaded from your link, armaholic, and the original link. Cant spawn any of the updated F-16cs without this message

Found another issue: If you use AGM (Authentic Gameplay Mod), which institutes G-Forces into the game, a pilot must be wearing a G-Suit in order not to quickly pass out. The pilot suits included in the USAF mod do not count as G-suits so if I test with AGM I pass out incredibly fast; anyone else have this problem? Also, don't know if this was on purpose or not, but the AGM-88 doesn't always produce a 1 hit kill against AA. About 2/5 times the targets are still mobile and active 2/5 there is a delayed explosion 1/5 is kill on hit. For the RHS AA vehicle I have had zero instant kills. I can confirm ECM works. It won't stop them from shooting at you but it will stop the missile from hitting you; it works. Cant wait for that complete read through being produced, thanks your effort and hard work!

-Apologies I should be more specific. By inner pylons I meant the internal bay inside the fuselage. I see the option to fit some GBUs but cannot select them once fitted to the airframe. I see them inside the bay, just have no option to drop them. -Also man that sucks for the cargo version being taken out. But I have to say your C-17 mod is incredible so it balances out - Have not had many lag issues with the E3, if the report helps considering some of the others.

Just downloaded, trying now! Some preliminary issues I have noticed after playing with the mod for 2 hours: -C-130 Cargo version is stuck in the ground. Have spawned it as high as 7 meters, shot it, rammed it; refuses to move. Regular one doesn't have such issue -A-10 pick/roll ball instrument (forgot the actual name) is glitched, rolls cause the ball to pitch as if pulling up or down. -Havn't noticed a change in sound for the A-10, although honestly it had been a while since I had flown it last. But alternating from first to third person had no change in sound and it was still quite loud -Don't know if it was on purpose but one is no longer able to do manual fire in the B-1 or B-2 (cannot select the weapons). Not much of a big issue as one should be two man operating it anyways, just putting it out there; one must get in gunner seat and take controls in order to solo operate. -The F-22 is capable of fitting a pair of GBUs in the inner pylons (was before the update as well) but I do not see a way to use them as they do not show up in my weapon cycle. Videos of some of the issues can be available once upload is complete if wanted. Everything I severely love! Great job guys!

To anyone concerned: A Nuclear bomb drop from 4.7+ meters high will keep you out of the EMP blast, thus you don't have a pull a huge U-turn. Stay as close to 5k as you can and a fly over should be no problem.

Yea that sounds awesome about the Paveways. About the other thing however I wasn't meaning distance wise, but altitude. Usually with drones I sit in a 1500m orbit at 2km Alt. Which allows me to recon and also perform CAS, as one does not need tone with the Greyhawks Scapals and they will curve towards ones laser. Can't do that with the Reaper however as one must be on a straight on heading to achieve a tone for the missiles. If one doesn't get a tone the missiles will just fly forever straight. Got some vids of using yours at: https://www.youtube.com/user/KarasxOtoha/videos Tried to illustrate the tone in the first one (forgot to tell the drone not to engage, so it began trying to fly straight down) but you can see where I fire off the first time without tone it just flies off. Was just saying I'll miss the maneuverable missiles :P Also, I had said something about this a while back in the other thread but don't know if you ever saw it. You guys ever think of putting the drones in Above sea level instead of their Above ground level Altitude wise? I say this because usually when you put them to hold an altitude somewhere (especially in hilly terrain) they will just constantly bob up and down trying to hold it.

I would like to say: I also have no issue flying above 3000m with the B-2 flickering. Locked on and fired against the GPS targets fine. To other questions: To get in the B1 try standing close to the front wheel off to the side, look up at the cockpit and their should be a way in. There is a ladder, but I dont have much luck getting in there either. Fuller: Just confirming with you, as you asked someone but they didn't tell you all of which aircraft were loud, they've all been mentioned separate. But together it is C5 A-10 F-22 The rest of the craft sound normal but man you better turn your volume down when jumping in these guys xD Also I had gotten the soundbug too from the F-22 and it ended up translating to all the other planes. Had them all spawned in one area and took the F-22 for a spin, when I got out the sound bug originally was just the F=22 Engines not quitting their yacking when the engine was off, got back in and turned on-turned off. The engine sounds went away but so did everything else first person when I jumped into an airframe. Could only hear in 3rd person until i restarted. Although I might not be running the current version of CBA, don't know if that has anything to do with it. Also, on the subject of the drones. Do you think that you will ever add a service menu to the Reaper to switch out between AGM 114s and Paveway IIs? As they are capable of carrying both (at the same time also)? The drones are both really cool by the way, but man will I miss being able to blow things up from 2km orbit, have to be straight on for these missiles; which i'm not exactly sure is required of the Reapers. Its recommended (as I read in an interview straight on allows the missile to get there way quicker than sound) but I don't think its required.

Awesome thanks! I didn't notice that just figured they were empty boxes. Your F-22 sounds amazing by the way, a bit loud. But hell that thing screams!
