Its been a long time since i have played this mod, but I have been in the mood to get back into it. In the process I realized I had to reinstall arma and all my mods, is there any weapon mods that are compatible with this? I can't remember because its been so long. I want to be able to find the weapons at the trader and on the roaming AI. I already went through the recommended mods list and tool all the ones I wanted, but I would like to add more variation to the weapon tables, any idea what ones I could add?

I suggest people turn on the in game funtion of show tags for enemies, or you can do just allies. Or both. Either way it doesnt matter, but if you increase the distance to "show" it will show a tag when you put your cross hair, or when looking down a scope at someone. It will be a green tag for allies, and red for enemies. Simple, yet easy to change, and it solves the issue for everyone. That way people like us who dont want the tacky looking helmets, and wants the thrill of "who did I just kill?" and it fixes the issues for those who do want to know. Just a suggestion, but I used to use that all the time.

What is the code that you put in the players box to make him spawn in with random loot. Something that can give you anything from mods as well regular arma loot?

I love the survival and everything about it. But I get bored easily, I want something extra, I have had a few fun fired fights, like spawning in and getting only a pistol with 2 clips total. and killing 3 bandits with that, then managing to take a bandits gun to kill the last 2. That was amazingly fun, but it doesnt happen that often. Most of the time its wondering around the same map over and over again. Wondering how I am gonna get rid of radiation exposure. Never finding a dam anti-rad, then doing it all over again. All in the same playthrough. The one thing I loved about Dayz Mod, was the missions. Solo or not. It was still amazingly fun, and I loved every second of it. Thats why I asked.

Also does anyone know how to make randomly generated missions? I dont want anything really advanced just something to add to it temporarily cause I love this mod, but doing the same exact thing (spawn, loot buildings, killing zombies, killing AI...) it tends to get kinda boring after a while. Or is there a mod that adds in something I cant use in the editor and I can make my own ravage file in the editor with that stuff to make my own missions or something? If that makes any sense....

Does anyone have the template for the newest version of Ravage?

There is a button at the top that says "Local Mod", press it. Then go to your steam apps and common, ect. ect and find the Arma 3 folder, click on the @Ravage, once just so it highlights and then hit in the bottom left corner what ever button is like when you go to open a word document or something like that. IT will add it to your mod list, BUT it will not auto update so you will have to keep track of the updates here on this site.

LOL I never thought of that. Sounds fun haha. I actually just ended up spawning myself in a CZ (the small one) from the CUP weapons pack. With like 1 or 2 extra mags and worked my way from there. Now I have a full inventory trying to find a vehicle or a trader XP

Another question.... I read the changelog so unless I missed something, then something is weird. Everytime I spawn there is no weapon in site.... normally there is one on the dead driver but I have restarted it 5 times and never gotten so much as a pistol....I am running the same mods I always do, and they are all ones that are on the lost of compatible mods, except a mod called Double Weapons....so that may be causing the issue, I am about to try it without that on, but I doubt that is the issue.. its never effected anything before.

What assets would I miss out on? I would like to play on the Tanoa map but I cant really afford it at the moment. And I would still use some mods anyways, cause I dont care for default weapons. I love the modded weapons and gear. It looks so much better than anything BI has put out. My only fear though is, will modded weapons show in the traders lists? Do traders carry a lot of different stuff, or do they have random stuff, that they looted while walking around?

Okay well since I just spent a lot of money on the new Deus Ex game for August, I cant really afford this DLC yet. Plus.. 30 dollars for a DLC>?>> REALLY??? Anyways, are the traders gonna be on Altis and stuff? I just wanna know if its possible to get all the stuff that is gonna be on the Tanoa map, gonna be on all the others?

YES YES YES!!! I agree so much! Traders and base building would amazing! Actually I was playing a mod the other day that used a lot of the base premises to the Alive mod, and I think some of the stuff from the Alive mod would be amazing when combined with a lot of the stuff from Ravage.

Great mission but the number of zeds was insane for a solo player lol. The only other issue I had was, why is there no holster weapon option? The sheer number of zeds makes having it almost invaluable especially as a solo player. Since you cant outrun a runner when you have your weapon out, and trying to get to a building or something that you can climb onto with Enhanced Movement, is really really difficult. But all in all, great mod, I loved all the extras and the camps. -
They do actually run towards gunfire, but as far as I know they dont touch vehicles. But every time I fire and unsilenced weapon I always end up getting 3 or 4 more from the surrounding area that normally wouldn't have seen me.

Well I wasnt sure if I was just missing something or not because I know in the normal version you have a bunch random spawn points so I was sure if that was just something you had added in or if it was already in the game that mod could just link too. Something like that. I just dont wanna spawn in the same place every time. If I make my own mission that is.

I didn't check to see if the modules were already there for me to use actually. I assumed I needed a template like before.... when I tried to port to another map before the update I had a template so I assumed I needed one again. My only questions for this are, do we need triggers for anything specific? and if so, what do we need them for? Do the modules just need be dropped somewhere on the map, if so does it matter where? Also, I noticed you didn't have that normal beginning spawn sequence with the car and everything. Is that because of the way you started it from the editor or is because you didn't actually set the spawn points? How do I place spawn points? If I think of any other questions I will ask them when I think of them. EDIT: So I followed what you did in the video and now I wanna try the mission for real instead of just playing it through the editor, but I moved the file it made to my missions folder and nothing happened. There is nothing in game that I can play for what I made.. did I do something wrong? Also what is the code that I would put on my playable character to make him spawn with random set of items, or however it is set up in the normal version of ravage mod? I am literally just trying to make it almost identical to the original version that is on Altis except on Cherno map with a few small changes. Just dont know what I did wrong...

I dont have a template... I open up the editor and there is nothing there so there is modules for me to use lol
