  1. Apologies in advance if these have been asked before. I've had no luck searching. - How can I create a unit mod from existing assets? Say, I want to create a group under independents/ with a few infantry units. I've found many tutorials regarding creating units from scratch BUT none about making units from vanilla/mod equipment (For personal use, of course) - Whenever I place a helicopter in the editor and use init codes to move my group into the cargo on mission start everything works fine until I get to the unload transport waypoint for the heli. Only my character is unloaded and the chopper immediately rises and flies off to the next waypoint. I've had trouble getting this to work with cars and APCs. The difference is they wait for me to order my squad to disembark and for everyone to be ready before moving on. - I've set a vehicle to patrol a road with move waypoints but whenever it spots some enemy instead of engaging the driver just keeps driving ahead, leaving the poor AI gunner to drive-by the hostiles. Very useless when the car's on your side, very annoying when you're up against it. How can I fix this? Thanks for reading.

  4. Hello, I'm new to editing missions and I'm currently trying to make a warfare mission. I've got all the basics down. AI automatically assigns me cities to capture. I have some issues though. I've searched for answers but came up with nothing. My questions are: SOLVED SOLVED- Why doesn't respawning work? I rolled back to 1.62 but still when I get killed I get the "you died" menu with the teamswitch option greyed out so I have to restart, even though my description.ext file has respawn = "BASE"; respawnDelay = 5; That's all, thanks.
