  1. how does arma 3 in the status of version 1.36 feels for you ? does it feels like its still the alpha version? does it feels like its still the beta version? does it feel like a finished game ? does it feel like a non-finished game but already leaved the alpha and beta status ? please write reasons for your feel about the game and what should be fixed/changed/improved/added to change its status/your feel about the game THIS IS A OPINION THEARD, NOT A WHINE THEARD OR A "BI FIX IT, LOOK HOW PEOPLE FEEL" THEARD OR A REQUEST THEARD - JUST A OPINION THEARD!

Story: On a Island called "Bohemia Island", the Peoples, Players & Modders (in short: The Community) who lives there, went to the streets and protesting against the Bohemian Interactive Government demanding 64 bit Support and Multithreading for all of its Games the Government releases. After days of protest, the BI Government started to send out the Bohemian Interactive Army and shooting at the protesters which killed 2 peoples. After that, more peoples went on the streets + protesters demand more things, especially for ArmA 3. They demand shotguns, fast rope, cut content, missing features and much more. Yet the BI Government answered with Police Brutality which lead to riots. Protesters wearing T-Shirts with the words "GIVE US 64 BIT","STOP KILLING YOUR COMMUNITY","WHERE IS THE MULTITHREADING SUPPORT?". Billboards are full of letters and pictures which says "BI GOVERNMENT ARE MURDERS", "BI GOVERNMENT WONT GIVE US 64 BIT", "TIME TO OVERTHROW THIS GOVERNMENT". Several BI Government Buildings are on fire, the BI Government sends more Troops including armored vehicles. Several Community Members were killed. This is the day where the Community starting its armed uprising, the fight against its Government. Features: - 6 Factions - Realistic Weapons & Vehicles (BMP1, AK47, AK74 etc) - a 20km x 20km Island, called the Bohemian Island, based on the Falkland Islands but with some changes and ofcourse smaller - Alot of new Textures for Units, Vehicles and Props - Food & Drink feature (you must, because its part of survival) Faction List: BLUFOR: 1. Bohemian Armed Forces (Main Armed Force of the Bohemian Island) 2. Bohemian Rebels (People who lives on the Bohemian Islands, but fighting for the BI Government) 3. Foreign Bohemian Supporters (BI Supporter who came all over the world to the Bohemian Island to help and fight for the BI Government, many reasons why they came, some of them are brought mercenaries who got paid from BI Government, other came just to support the BI Government from other companies, for example BI Simulations send some mercenaries). OPFOR: 4. Community Rebels (Peoples, Modders, Players who want to overthrow the BI Government for not following theyr demands and for killing its own community) 5. Foreign Community Supporters (People, Modders and Players from all over the world came to Bohemian Island to help the Community living there and to stop the Killing by the BI Government) INDFOR: 6. Criminals (Peoples, Players and Modders who are using the civil war and make criminal things, for example you can play as ArmA 3:Life member which is part of the criminal group called "ArmA 3:Life" that stole others mod and models from other games and made money of it. many more type of criminals like murders, robbers etc you will also be able to kill other criminal member, the criminal faction is mainly pure deathmatch). NOTE: OPFOR factions wont have jets, helicopters etc. The BI Armed Forces will have the heavy things. BLUFOR VEHICLES: Tanks Jets Helicopters Submarines Cars (Armed/Unarmed) Transport vehicles Cargo Planes Armed Boats / Some Naval Assets OPFOR: Mainly Civilian cars in Armored/Unarmored variants INDFOR: Same as Opfor The Island will be a 20kmx20km (including water) sized island. it will include like altis a mediterranean environment. desert will be included too.     Arma 3 performance, what to upgrade?

    one tip: NEVER EVER upgrade for arma 3, it wont help. BI needs to upgrade the engine instead.
  5. the missions based on military & war gameplay in arma 3 multiplayer are pretty dead from the begining. only a small % of overall MP servers runs them. anyway, just leave the multiplayer, it isnt worth it, because of the lazyness of BI not supporting 64 bit & multithreading. just leave it. the engine also makes military combat missions in many aspects unplayable for MP. if you play a zombie mission in MP, you have AI that doesnt have to do much (shooting, driving, flying etc) so way less tasks for the AI on this broken engine compared on a military combat mission. so BI is to blame too because theyr lazyness force people to play other missions which are playable for them than military combat missions.
  6. is there a way to make the "military placement cust. obj." as a trigger which spawns the units where ever i go or any other way to make it work ? even if i have to open the .pbos and take the script from there ?
  7. hello, this game has currently 3 sides: BLUFOR, OPFOR and INDFOR. what is really missing: a real INDFOR which makes every faction inside this INDFOR as enemies each other. the current INDFOR can be renamed to GREENFOR and then a new INDFOR can be added. this INDFOR should make every faction inside this INDFOR as enemies each other. for example: if i create 10 custom factions: EU, USA, CHINA, RUSSIA, IS, TALIBAN, HAMAS, CHERNARUS ARMY, AFRICAN REBELS, SOUTH AFRICAN ARMY and i would put all 10 factions into the new INDFOR, then i would have EU vs USA vs CHINA vs RUSSIA vs IS vs TALIBAN vs HAMAS vs CHERNARUS ARMY vs AFRICAN REBELS vs SOUTH AFRICAN ARMY. this would be a pure team-deathmatch where every faction has no allied faction. this is what im missing long time and please BI, give us a new INDFOR and rename the current INDFOR to GREENFOR. the name INDEPENDENT would get a new meaning because every faction that go into the new INDFOR would be really INDEPENDET. this allows the community to create various new battles and missions which were not possible before.

  10. how to make the alive module "military placement cust. obj." working like the other military placement module that the units/vehicles spawns around you, no matter where you go ? when i use only "military placement cust. obj." module, then it spawns the units/vehicles only there where i placed the module, when i go to another city, village or anywhere outside the zone where i spawned the module, it doesnt spawn any unit around me. i did not placed any other military placement or CQB module, i only placed the required alive modules and "military placement cust. obj.". can you help me ?
  11. hello, is there any script out which spawns vehicles (land/air/sea) from all 3 sides around you, no matter where you go ? i know about alive, but it spawns not much vehicles, only a few. i know about AI spawn script pack, the ambientcombat script from it, it spawns vehicles too with units, but not much too. on both alive & AI spawn script pack/ambientcombat, we can not define how many vehicles spawns. however, on AI spawn script pack / militarize script, we can define how many units + vehicles spawn, yet two problems: - i am not able to use it as trigger, means that putting it as trigger, linking it with my player unit and then walking around the map and no matter where i go, it spawns vehicles and units, the numbers i defined. i am only able to put it as game logic and the units only appear where the game logic is placed on the map. - the units and vehicles doesnt respawn after they got killed/destroyed. please send me a AI vehicle spawn script where i can define the number if you have OR please help me out with the militarize thing to make it as: 1. trigger 2. respawn for dead vehicles/AI http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?165089-AI-Spawn-Script-Pack thanks
  12. hmmmmmmmmm so this is basically a pack of NATO and russian vehicles, including even the vehicles that are not used by special forces/spetsnaz, right ?

  14. hello, is it possible via script to make factions in one category fighting each other ? for example i have in BLUFOR these factions: NATO USA SPAIN could i do NATO vs USA vs SPAIN and these fighting OPFOR and INDFOR too ?
  15. i just wanna see how people feel about arma 3 now, this is not another "BI do dis and dis because people feel the that dis and dis is not right" nor is this a "BI we want to help you" theard, its just an opinion theard, im interesting in seeing how people think in what status arma 3 for them is. fully playable game which includes everything what a game with SP/MP mode needs. - a fully campaign (arma 3 has it) - content (not counting expansions, just the standart content, arma 3 already has its main content) - fully working SP/MP (performance affects it too) and such things, what we saw in previous arma´s. for me, the bugs/performance etc plays a big role too. arma 2 for example felt like an open beta even with its provided content already there, the campaign etc because of the bugs, but patch to patch it got better and went to a more finished game but not perfectly. arma 3 however, feel like its still in beta for me, because there are more engine improvements made = more features = more bugs & unfinished stuff. phsyx for example, AI, performance etc... but when the stuff got worked out, i believe that the game will feel more finished and then i can call it a "final" version
  16. hello, currently, we have 3 sides with armed forces: BLUFOR, OPFOR and INDFOR. yet there are 2 more sides without armed forces: Animals & Civilians. is it possible to use the animals & civilians sides for armed forces too ? example: if i create 2 custom factions, one of them i pack into civilian side, the other i pack into animal side, is that possible ? because this would allow us to have 5 sides instead of 3 sides and this allows more variants of battles. this would allow BLUFOR vs OPFOR vs INDFOR vs CIVILIANS vs ANIMALS. detailed example: BLUFOR/NATO vs OPFOR/CSAT vs INDFOR/AAF vs CIVILIAN/TALIBAN vs ANIMALS/RUSSIAN SEPERATISTS (just an example)

    there is enough reason for such an addition. it allows the community (incl. myself) to create missions and battles which were not possible before. as for the script: sadly no, this isnt possible via script. the only thing we can do via script is: having a pure deathmatch. that means not only all factions fighting each other, but every unit from all factions kill each other. NATO unit kill other NATO unit etc..

  20. ok i tried it ingame but this is not exactly what i want. the faction shouldnt be friendly to any other factions. i want pure deathmatch with each faction, so CSAT isnt friendly to any other faction, even on other OPFOR factions. they should fight other OPFOR faction but fighting BLUFOR and INDFOR too.

  23. i know but i mean factions inside BLUFOR fighting each other. if i have for example 5 factions in BLUFOR, i want to fight all 5 factions each other, same if i have 5 factions inside OPFOR and INDFOR. if i have for example following factions in BLUFOR: USA NATO EU SPAIN BRITISH FORCES i want USA vs NATO vs EU vs SPAIN vs BRITISH FORCES. if i have these 5 factions in OPFOR: RUSSIA CSAT CHINA IRAN ISIS i want RUSSIA vs CSAT vs CHINA vs IRAN vs ISIS also i want that BLUFOR and OPFOR factions fight each other, even if they are fighting inside each other, means for example: USA vs NATO vs EU vs SPAIN vs BRITISH FORCES vs RUSSIA vs CSAT vs CHINA vs IRAN vs ISIS is that possible via script ? @soolie: thx i will watch it now
