    Takistani Army A3 - TKA_A3

    Wow that was fast. Another fantastic quality OPFOR pack worthy of Arma 3. I agree with SharpShot that the pants could look better/more fitting (puns...) if they were tucked into the boots, but it is a very minor nitpick. Overall this is another fantastic addition. I really hope you continue to put out more quality content and support and update the two packs you already have out. In the meantime however you deserve a break. These units should keep us busy for now.
  2. "Contact Harvest" Fantastic Halo book. I've recently re-listened to the audio book version (very well done IMO) to build up excitement waiting for TEI alpha release. The picture looks fantastic. The armor textures and attention to detail is beyond amazing. You guys (mod developers) are really doing an awesome thing. This will easily go down as one of, if not my top favorite addons to arma ever, and I'm sure the rest of the community will love it too. Can't wait for the first release. In the meantime SSgt Johnson will keep me company.

    Chernarussian Defence Forces A3 - CDF_A3

    This mod pack is fantastic! Not only did you not just reskin units already in Arma 3, but you added the vehicles as well. This is amazing. I really hope you continue to make faction packs for Arma 3 like this. I'm sick and tired of getting crappy reskinned Arma 3 uniforms and no vehicles. I would love to see the Takistan Army, or maybe even the ChDKz even though you said you might not make them. Regardless this is a fantastic pack and I hope you continue to contribute your awesome, and desperately needed work to the Arma 3 community

    Authentic Gameplay Modification

    Hi, I just have a quick question about armor values for plate carriers: Is there any? I ask because it seems every time I get hit, no matter where I may be hit, I always take damage and end up having to bandage myself and stop pain. This makes wearing a vest with armored plates in them seem useless. I was wondering if this is intended or is some kind of bug with the medical system that is being looked into? Any feedback would be great. Still loving this mod as a must have for whenever I play Arma 3 and I'm excited to see what new updates bring!

  6. I've been having a slight bug recently where, when I place a transport helicopter down it spawns with too many crewmen. For instance the Black Hawk from the RHS mod, it spawns with a pilot, a co pilot and two gunners (which is fine) and 4 pilots sitting in the back (which is not fine) Is this a bug with ALiVE or am I doing something to cause this? Also note that it happens with vanilla units as well. I tried to place some Hummingbirds (default Arma 3 units) and they spawned with 4 extra pilots sitting on the skids. Is there any way from preventing this from happening?

    CHERNARUS CONFLICT for ARMA3

    There seems to be some kind of compatibility issue with the ALiVE mod when using this unit pack. Regardless of what force distribution option is selected in the military placement modules for ALiVE, they only seem to spawn one group, the AA tank platoon, with the odd BMP thrown in there every now and then. I have no idea what could be causing this, but I thought I would let you know. I hope the fix is an easy one so that myself and others can use these awesome units in new missions.

    ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

    I'm sure that this has been requested a few times already, and I know that there are many packs out there that are similar to what I am requesting, but nothing that is currently available fits very well. I would like a decent OPFOR pack. One that comes with well textured units, not just retextured Arma 3 uniforms. I think that the CAF Aggressors pack does this very well, at least for the Middle Eastern fighters. The other two factions, not so much. Along with fully textured baddies, they need to have their own vehicles and equipment as well. Again, CAF Aggressor pack has no vehicles, so the Middle Eastern units (and all the other factions as well) default to the vanilla Arma 3 technical, which is more like a modern Ford pickup truck than it is a Taliban clunker with a machine gun strapped on to the back. I hope that soon enough we will get a decent OPFOR pack like this. Two things before I conclude, 1) I am not trying to trash the CAF Aggressor pack. I love playing with those units, its just I wish they came with proper vehicles as well, and that the Eastern rebels and the African pirates came with better clothing, and 2) I am aware of larger packs such as RHS and the CSAT Modification Project. To be more specific, I am looking for semi/unconventional OPFOR packs, like the Taliban or a force like the Chedaki from Arma 2. Hope someone has something in the works.

    What do you want to see in the expansion?

    Personally I want the focus to be on new features over content. I think that the past few DLC releases and the upcoming Marksman DLC have been awesome and is the right way to go. The community is very good at providing us with more high quality content such as units, entire faction packs and even missions, but it's up to the devs to give us new features that are refined and well implemented. I would much rather see them add something like a 3D editor or a new improved and more realistic vehicle damage model/armor system than a new faction that has probably already been made by the community, or will be shortly. Here's hoping we get some more official information soon.

    Rastakhar region

    This looks very interesting. I'm always glad to see more terrains representing middle eastern settings. I really like the amount of trees, and large rock formations you have on those ridge lines off in the distance. The villages also looked nicely laid out. Overall it looks like a strong start to a great map. Looking forward to seeing what progress you make on this.
  13. All if these pictures are seriously amazing. You guys have made awesome progress. Can't wait till the community can get it's hands on this stuff. But please, take your time. I for one would rather have a complete project that you guys are proud to release instead of one filled with bugs. We can hold out a bit longer. (Although more screenshots never hurt) Keep up the fantastic work!!!

    I've been waiting for a mod just like this for a while now, and this does not disappoint. Thanks!! I was just wondering, are you planning on making a pack like this for Takistan? If it's anything like this pack then I, and many others would love it. Keep up the good work!
  15. Now that Massi's vehicle pack has been released, I was wondering if it is possible to use those vehicles in missions. For instance the mission me and my friends play is a large scale counter insurgency on Taksitan between US forces from the RHS: Escalation pack and the CAF Aggressors pack. I was wondering if it is possible to make the Aggressors use the various UAZs and technicals added by MAssi's pack, both as regularly spawned patrol units and at spawned checkpoints. Is this possible? If so how do I got about doing that? Thanks

    Authentic Gameplay Modification

    I was wondering if there are any plans to add fragmentation simulation to the mod? TMR Modular Realism does this, but the effect is a tad extreme in my opinion. Still though it is nice to have fragmentation grenades that actually fragment when they explode. This could be a very cool feature to have in the future.
  17. This mod is the mod I am most excited about for Arma 3. All of the screenshots that have been released have looked amazing, and the progress being made on this is fantastic. I can't wait until the initial release. Just being able to play as UNSC units alone will be worth it, everything else to me is just added goodness. Everything looks amazing so far. Keep up the good work!
  18. Just wanted to say that I've been learning how to make missions with this and that it is awesome! My friends and I have invested many multi-hour gaming sessions because of this mod. Its been a lot of fun so far and it looks like it will only get better as the mod is improved more, more features come out, and I get better at building missions. I have one question, and I apologize if this has already been asked and answered. I was wondering if there are any plans/possibility of back porting this (or some kind of optimized version) to Arma 2? I know that this could be asking a lot, but Arma 2 has a much more developed mod scene, and takes place during a contemporary time frame which is what I prefer. There are a lot of mods for Arma 3 that are beginning to bring current modern equipment into the game (like the excellent RHS: Escalation mod) but these are still early in development. Regardless of whether or not you decide to make an Arma 2 version or if it is possible, I still love the mod for Arma 3 and can't wait for further improvements and features to come out for it. Keep up the good work!

    Ah well that explains why I could only find that one old script. Thanks for your quick response. I believe I saw a community tracker ticket raised about the ability to drag bodies. With any luck Bohemia will address the issue and give modders the scripting commands they need to make this happen. Until then we'll have to get by without it I suppose. The AI wounding system seems like it will be a great feature to AGM when it is released, so there is that to look forward to. Thanks again for the mod and the support!

    Authentic Gameplay Modification

    Hi! My friends and I have been using this mod for the past few weeks and are loving it. It is now a must have for us whenever we play Arma 3. Truly an awesome mod. I have a question concerning the next release of the mod. I saw a video a few days ago (I just looked again but I couldn't find it. It's out there somewhere though) that shows planned features for the next release, primarily the AI interacting with the wounding system by healing other wounded AI. My question is, is there any plans to add the ability to drag dead bodies? I know that you can drag wounded (unconscious) players right now, but I am really hoping for the ability to drag dead bodies. I've been looking around and the only other thing I could find related to this was a script someone made back in August that allows you to drag dead bodies that are placed in the editor. My problem with this script is that my friends and I use ALiVE to make large scale sandbox like missions. (Another great mod by the way) ALiVE continuously spawns AI units in the game in real time, so the script does not work on those units (which are 99% of all the units you interact with in the mission) because they were not placed in the editor. In both Arma 1 and 2/OA we used the SLX mod for this purpose. We've found that the simple ability to drag dead bodies and wounded AI greatly adds to the overall immersion of the game. For instance it allows you to move a fallen comrade out of the road instead of just leaving his body there to get run over by passing traffic. It also allows for things such as creating casualty collection points, or for organizing dead enemies after a raid. (This is very useful when playing an insurgency type mission where body counts and target identification are important) I spend a little bit of time looking around on the GitHub page but I did not see anything referencing a body drag feature. Finally if this is not a planned feature, does anyone know of any mod or modder who is planning on working on this feature, whether it be stand alone or part of a mod? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
