You have to assume for truthfully force recon are the Marines Verson of army Rangers, and it turns out that the Army has its own Version of ODSTs that is the Called the UNSC Army Airborne. So you have to figure that they would have force recon / rangers units to go in areas where regulars can't cut it and ODSTs and Airborne is just to expensive to send in. (But it is wierd cause truthfully the Ranger would be at a Higher level then airborne. So its possible the Rangers/ Green Berets got adapted into Army airborne and the army adapted it's own version of force recon *using American names over other Nato armies for I'm more familiar then them and I rather not put down a long list of the same style of units.*) But I'll look further into it. this area of lore I love to research in (Though of course I noticed that cause they focused so much on the spartan soldiers, that regular military in the operating and composition got really left on the wayside compared to other space marine series like Warhammer 40k and Starship troopers. as i said, personnel preference. I'm not Against the M73. I think what the Movie crew was doing was taking a MA5 and converting it into a belt fed saw, Like a few Arms manufactures have done with the m4. -

Is this for the saw verson? Cause we found the mrco better suited for that But the sight for m249s on the mods are what I used in the army work well too. They really good at showing what kind of spread you'll have up to 800m and gives you a 4x zoom -

If the vacuum suit is rated with a prussured crush depth, then it can be used underwater With the aid of water jets and flippers and such. The Spartans had conducted underwater operations in their suits and conducted underwater ops during their training, so it is easily possible ODSTs have at least received this level of trianing and may have adaptations for their armor and body suits to be able to conduct underwater operations. But sense thier is no example of what underwater gear would look like except that they used regular scuba gear and tanks during training. Which basically screams at the laziness that Bungie was becoming at the end of its contract with MS. Cause the ODSTs wear Vacuumed sealed Ballistic body suits that offer actual small arm protection with armor over it. Kinda in the same format the CSAT fatigues are the armor for the CSAT nation and they are so tanky, no matter where you shoot them in vanilla (not talking about the face of course) http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/ODST_battle_armor -

I love them. But SN would burn 343 on the stake if he had his choice. Why I said "may not want to hear it" I actually pretty positive about 343i. but I'll share those opinions for the HW forums. Don't want to get yelled at again. -

May not want to hear it but halo 5 does have a smartscope for the AR. And we got rid of the smart scope for them for balance. 32 round AR with smartscope it beast enough. 60 is to op for arma haha. It's turned into a fun experience . :) -

And I can't remember if I heard right but the army will have a update scorpion pattern Mission editors are holding off on mission making for we have agm where we like it for the modern combat and they rather not have to change the vaules to compensate for the 1 shotness of the UNSC fatigues (vest and helmet are great. Don't change them. Just make the fatigues 2 shot like the vanilla uniforms) and are to lazy to do the scripting the to do the quick fix and plus, the vanilla fatigues don't really work. (Though it doesn't bother me much) -

So I was testing the durability of the pelican. Watching it take .50 cal And rocket fire left and right. Feeling like a bad ass.... the I spawned a Tigeris and and next I know It. I'm falling out of the sky and my AI copilot ditches me to go splat on the ground. So the name of the game. If your going against light infantry. The Pelican is the best friend you could have. But you have hostile AAA. May the Odin open the gates of Valhalla for you. For your coming through in a ball of glory. A 100 shots. Idk. only if you couldn't hit them. It's actually very easy to kill in halo if your decent at it. Half a mag at most of you get the drop on a guy. Even less if they just stand there -

My clan is likely the damage now. You got the right balance going for the moment. We can take a few hits and adapt to an ambush. Still lose a few men to head shots, 40mm or lucky hits. But its war. You will lose men in a ambush. but the fix made it where it is possible to survive over a GJ patrol getting jumped by vietcon being completely wasted in the bush. we give you our support. But we are already see it on fb and some forums. This mod is slowly becoming what Dayz did for Arma 2. I'm seeing people saying they are buying arma just for this mod and half a day later we see them again not realizing that arma is not halo, cod, or bf. That you really do need to pay attention. Lol. Things are getting interesting haha -

Landing is easy xD the landing gear is so tough you can go 200KPH to 0 without damaging the pelican (Though stopping at that speed kills the whole crew. But works fine around 100kph) its epic *Update Edit* So I been mistaken with the damage on this update, In the VA you can 1 shot all the training dummies in there, but I went to the editor and decided to do test with live targets and I have to say..... I'm happy. All I have to say. 3 - 6 hit deaths on UNSC personnel depending on what armor they wear and where you hit. Thumbs up, our mission Editors will be pleased Also something I noticed, the scopes of the Gauss looks like they have thermals, but the actual weapons does not but instead uses NVGs, Was that intentional? For I been using the zoom out thermals to spot targets and then zoom in to actually shoot. Also. LOVING the new pelican controls -

I noticed this too. The fuel tank gets pegged to quickly and it drains super quick. I know BI solved this with the Huran where they added a reserve tank that prevents the tank from leaking past 15% Giving the bird a chance to RTB for repairs. -

Understood. I do enjoy that you really can see a difference in weapons tech in 500 years. Once you get the armor to match 500 years of advancement. Things will be rocking. I know the whole thing really is getting our mission editors kinda going nuts. We can fix it with agm. But we finally got agm to work well with modern weapons and nobody wants to reconfigure it for a few games of tango Hunt. So it kinda was put on hold. But we hope when it gets balanced. We can get the show going xD Edit* when you say already do, do you mean the nato fatigues or csat themselves. For the stats on the virtual ammo box equals it to the nato/ civilian clothes -

So I noticed how the fatigues have armor on it themselves. You guys think of adding armor value to the fatigues themselves like the CSAT fatigues. This may help spread out the damage and help slow down the 1 shot actions going on. -
