breeze 0 Posted July 16, 2010 Where are the default missions located with a steam install I want to unpbo some of them to see how they did stuff.
kylania 568 Posted July 16, 2010 Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\AddOns\missions.pbo or something similar.
Big Dawg KS 6 Posted July 16, 2010 All BIS missions (campaign, training, single missions, MP missions) are in "Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 (operation arrowhead)\(Expansion)\Addons\missions(_e).pbo". Stuff in parentheses is for OA, exclude for regular ArmA 2.

breeze 0 Posted July 17, 2010 your using the Armed assault PBO Unpacker Version 10? Because i tried regular mission takistan pbo and the missions e_pbo and not good the PBO's are like 48 mb and the files unpack to 2 files less then 100 kb worthless
manzilla 1 Posted July 17, 2010 I can't get it to unpack either. I tried 7cpbo, cpbo, pboview, eliteness, etc. It's not the steam version I'm using. Eliteness opened it but there's just 2 unassociated files in there. ArmA 2 OA- the file type says "File" in the folder $PBOPREFIX$- same thing as above Big Dawg KS, What did you use? manzilla 1 Posted July 17, 2010 (edited) Kegety's ArmATools 7.7.2010 works just fine. Still dont work for me. hmmmm but cpbo never works. I dont get the "extract" option when I right click. EDIT: I tried eliteness a few more times and I finally got the actual folders to appear. Got it. Edited July 17, 2010 by Manzilla
breeze 0 Posted July 18, 2010 Well I found out that my problem was 64 bit windows I have the ultimate edition and finally just said screw it and tried it on the xp mode portion of the computer and they worked perfectly so id suggest all of you using 64 bit to right click and even just try to run in compatibility mode windows xp or ask a friend to unzip them for you. Good Luck all
