Lightninguk 0 Posted July 11, 2010 (edited) Release my second mission base round the british forces on Takistan now on Armaholic Background HeadQuaters Task Force Takistan, The Takistan province campaign is a series of military operations conducted by ISAF forces against insurgents in the Province of Takistan. Their objective have been to control a province that is known to be a Takistan insurgents stronghold, and a center of opium production. The deployment of international, mostly British, forces was part of the stage three expansion of the ISAF mandate, to cover the southern regions of Takistan. Until then Takistan province had seen only a limited coalition presence. In the summer of 2008, a battalion of U.S. Army arrived to reinforce the British presence. In the spring of 2009, 11,000 additional Marines poured into the province, the first wave of President Obama's 21,000 troop surge into Takistan. "first stage of Task Force Takistan declared a success",In a series of complex airborne assaults, more than two thousand British and US troops began flooding into Takistan-controlled territory under Task Force Takistan. There are the best part of 100 British troops here. They've moved much faster than they expected.We arrived here under the cover of darkness with a whole series of helicopters ferrying troops out to different parts of the district. We landed at about 0400 and waited in a field until first light then started to move through the village where we are now.There has been not much sign of insurgents or, indeed, the local population - they seem to have fled in advance.We have heard a few booms in the distance - we believe those are controlled explosions of IEDs. So far, and it's early days, UK forces seem pleased with how things have gone. Havent had the time to play a lot on it but me and my friends are gonna try it out at some time when we get together. But have a few questions. 1. Are the to missions the same with the appearance of the eurofigther as the only thing apart. 2. where are the controls to the uav and ah-6x 3. how are supports activated. 4. There is a pilot spawned outside the pilot group?? Also one pilot spaws inside the apache? And a few surgestions for future updates. -Place the companies inside the FOB's instead of outside. -Remove the OA weapons form the weapons crates. -Make a fire base (artillery) for the support group -Clean up the Notes on the map. Its very messy. Dont know how instructions are giving in british army. But you could do it something like this. 1. Situation - Small description on where you are and whats happening. -1a. Enemy - Who are the enemy. What size are they. What equipment are they expected to have. Where are are they expected to be. -1b. Own forces. - Which forces do we have and where. 2. Objects - Description of what the objects of the mission is. -1 bla bla bla -2 bla bla bla -3 bla bla bla and so on 3. Information a. Suplies - Where are suplies located b. Repairs - Where are repairs located c. Medical - Where are M.A.S.H./or other locates 4. Communication a. Where are HQ located b. Where are commander located c.
