I want to take care that when no other Admin is online, people dont RDM, excessiveley Cop kill, Abuse Cop position, Glitch or Hack. Thank you for your vote! enforcer1975 0 Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) Your post is a waste of webspace ;) This problem was with both Sahrani Life communities and every other that mimicked the gamestyle. A clanmate and i were trying to "force" a fair and less lethal gameplay by making another version which was completed btw. At least some of the ones i played with in the SL com told it has a better planing and a innovative prestige system. The only thing it lacked were players interested in playing it, seems they liked killing over the whole game. We might have had 20 players in total who tried it. We did some advertising, but only after it was finished to avoid leaking half baked scripts which we locked btw :p. The server was running long enough, too. After going OT and getting back to my point. You don't only need admins who are there to force normal gameplay. Rustydog 10 Posted July 10, 2010 I played on this server the other night and found that this is just another port of the same mission, this time locked to protect "thier" scripts. No other server can run it etc. Same old CLR that has bad (slow and laggy ) code and has been edited by everyone and his brother. I joined the game and just walking around trying to buy a car etc I got shot by the so called "good" cops , 8 times in a row and even killed becuse one cop did not think I put my hands up fast enough. There was another admin who kept kicking people when they played as a cop and stopped him . All these game types even though they boast to be "real " role playing servers end up being Cops and robbers , earn enough cash to get a gun and then go after the cops. Cry becuse you got killed by a cop and then start all over . the cops have no other role than to stop people hand out tickets and jail people which enforceses the cop's / ver Civ type game play. I too made my own verison which is completed but after playing on that server I figured out that all people on these servers want to do is play cops and robbers. LOL :j: As you can what happens when you give away the mission are badly altered versions and people using other peoples work as their own. :p The only guarantee to have a properly working version is to keep it in one hand.
