What is the online population for OA like?

Is it bigger or smaller than ArmA 2? It seems like ever since it came out the regular ArmA 2 servers have been less populated.

This a Gametracker seach of "OA" 50 servers per page, sorted by number of players.

There could be more not using "OA" in the name though.

Thanks, my decision to buy it depended on the amount of people playing. Right now it seems about even with normal ArmA 2 so I think I'll get it.

You have to remember also that the Arma crowd is older then the usual FPS crowd

jobs, family, bitchy wives...etc. ;) So server populations are a little spotty at times.

jblackrupert has a point, but a good part of that demographic is all of us can actually go and buy OA since we have jobs. I expect over 90% of the community will move to OA qithin 1 or 2 months.
