randir14 10 Posted July 4, 2010 Is it bigger or smaller than ArmA 2? It seems like ever since it came out the regular ArmA 2 servers have been less populated.
jblackrupert 14 Posted July 5, 2010 This a Gametracker seach of "OA" 50 servers per page, sorted by number of players. http://www.gametracker.com/search/arma/?query=oa&sort=c_numplayers&order=DESC&searchipp=50#search There could be more not using "OA" in the name though. randir14 10 Posted July 5, 2010 Thanks, my decision to buy it depended on the amount of people playing. Right now it seems about even with normal ArmA 2 so I think I'll get it.
jblackrupert 14 Posted July 5, 2010 You have to remember also that the Arma crowd is older then the usual FPS crowd jobs, family, bitchy wives...etc. ;) So server populations are a little spotty at times.
last_apoc 10 Posted July 5, 2010 jblackrupert has a point, but a good part of that demographic is all of us can actually go and buy OA since we have jobs. I expect over 90% of the community will move to OA qithin 1 or 2 months. Also if you want to see for yourself, download Yoma AddonSync and in the dropdown box click OA servers, that will give you exactly what you want.
