Honeycutt 10 Posted May 19, 2010 Are you installing the directx re-distributable exe file from microsoft? As I am aware it installs automatically to the correct location. tonygrunt 10 Posted May 19, 2010 What you downloaded is a self extracting archive, when it asks you for a file location it asks where to unpack the files contained. After that you must run the setup.exe in the location you chose. If you have any other problems I recommend you download the DirectX Web Installer below. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3 This is a small file that after executed will download from MS any directx updates.
