How can I play ArmA2 with my friend

on a private server? Do I just start up a game or is it more complicated? He is located about 1.5 miles away & I'm pretty sure LAN doesnt work that way.

Launch the game, choose multiplayer, then click new.

Where it says LAN, click and select internet.

Choose a password, and name your server.

Have your buddy look on the internet listing, Network games, and have him join you.
