Kommiekat 11 Posted May 3, 2010 OK, here goes: Well, it was nice to be on a different island for a change. After getting killed a few times within the first 100 yards, I got into the swing of things. I would have prefered my own weapons layout before the missions takes off. It's a night time mission and Silenced weapons are a must, so I had to wait until I got to the enemy cache to stock up on the VSS Sniper weapon. With the VSS, I was just about able to clear all the objectives myself. A few buggy issues: 1.) The first task is to take out the general. After accomplishing it, I was informed by HQ as to it's completion an not the TASK box in the Map menu. 2.) This may not be due to you, but the AI squad members had a bit of a time on the hilly terrain. I had to use Column Compact (file) most of the time just to keep them together. 3.) At the final extraction destination which was located South of Rockburn, the extraction ship went to New Skooma. At that point, I called it a night and suspended the mission. All in all, I liked it. Needs a bit more tweaking and difficulty like roaming patrols. Doesn't get real hard until the final part. The rest of it was easy peasy sniping with a silenced sniper rifle. CPL_Buddha 10 Posted May 4, 2010 Thanks for the feedback. I will look into adding the option for custom load out. For sure give everyone silenced weapons. 1. I'll look into that. not sure why that happens. 2. I have the same problems. I think its the AI. I had problems with them before I built the mission and was playing around. 3. It did? Wow that's a new one. I'll test it a few more times see if it happens for me. I will add some more patrols. I kinda felt it was a bit easy but I knew where everything was. Plus you will actually get great feedback. That's the whole purpose of that section. A great place for mission making. Check them out for sure. Good luck! Alright here is a more complete mission bio: You lead a 4 man (all playable) socom team (Special Operations) on a night time raid on Asabana Rebel Front (ARF) troops. You have 2 objectives: 1. Eliminate a General who is meeting with an ARF warlord 2. ARF are using a facility to manufacture IED's. Intel shows the bomb maker is on sight and he must be taken out. Also you have 2 optional missions: 1. ARF units have secured Russian D-30 guns. Their location is unknown. If you can find them they can be taken out. 2.
