Glide 3.0???

the game is asking for glide 3.0, ive been searching for this file and cant find it anywhere..maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.....please advise

Let me guess, you've configured it to run in Glide mode rather than D3D, and you don't have a 3dfx card in your machine? Glide is a 3dfx interface, and won't run on any other cards (absent a Glide->D3D wrapper, which rather defeats the purpose).

so, I shouldnt pick that one,,,,but I've been trying everything to get the game running in decent colors..it's too dark...I bought it 2 months ago and havent seen any action. actually i hate this game...there's too many troubleshooting forums bout this game, that should tell me enough. thanks,,I'll keep trying anyways,because I'm Recon. and I wont give up!!!!

Is there a control panel setting for your graphics card to increase brightness or do gamma correction? Most cards seem to have them these days.

Thanks for your reply, Yes, I've got a viper770 and it has a control panel, even overlay control, but to no avail. It just switches back to it's own settings.

When I press Alt-Tab, i can see for a split second what the game should be like.........bright.

Now i'm not a wizz but isnt there a way to alter it inside

Don't use the video card's Control Panel, use the one in OFP -- go to Options on the Main Menu, then Video.

On my system, I reduced the Gamma and increased the Brightness, which gives me more vibrant colors and makes it easier to distinguish the uniforms.

yeah, I tried the ingame control panel, turned all up and down.....I just reinstalled, re-updated, all drivers are up to date.

pretty messed up, eh?

(I'm almost off playing DFLW again:))
