Buying soldiers ,creating squads

Is there a way so when I buy soldiers I can create separate squads?For example an AT squad ,a rifle squad etc.Because I tried but I cannot figure out how, or even if this possible.

Well you can assign them team colours. For example if you wanted an AT squad to consist of units 3, 4 and 5 you would select them all, go to team menu select the colour you want and assign it to them.

So if you assigned them to team blue, that wouuld now be your "AT" squad.

You can select the units and then click 0(I think) and select "send units" or something. Never got it to work in the official warfare missions myself, but it's supposed to work.

Is there anyway to buy a Fire team Leader or Squad Leader and then have several of your guys assigned to that particular leader? So that this way, buy just selecting that one leader with just one F key, you select that entire subgroup he's been assigned too.

I think you must hold the shift key ,while pressing the F key of a squad member, to select the whole squad.
