One Question to BIS , Suma, anyone.

Recommended Posts

Ok , on this site , in the Latest screenshots page , under the heading"latest Screenshots" you can see a Pic of the BMP-1. On this BMP-1 you will notice something you dont see in the Final release of the retail version. Its the AT-3 Sagger on its launch rail , I know you can fire it , but you cant see it.

My Question is this. Why is it not in the game now , and do you, BIS, have any intention to put it back into the game , I would really LOVE to see it , heck I would even PAY to have it in my game.

It seems that all the other vehicles that have missiles in the game you can see , Ah-64 , A-10, SU-25 , and the mortar is visiable when you fire it and then its gone , it reloads , reappears and when you have no more rounds its gone , Why is there no Missile on the launch rail BIS.

Please answer

Cheers

Grille...you missed the point of the post.....he wants to know why something was advertised and not delivered.

BTW...the BMP-2 uses the Spandrel tube launched missile system, not the rail launched Sagger....and that is modeled on the BMP-2 in the 1.3 patch

there seem to be quite a few missing things from the game.not necessarily from the demo but where is the apache longbow and hellfire mmwave missles they were available in the 80's? and how about cluster bombs for the a10 or even a tomahawk cruise to counter the scud(which i guess is window dressing) but then again i suppose it would be asking quite a lot to get the amount of hardware everyone wants. and then we would all want nukes next(well i like playing the odds so nukes could be kinda fun)

It was removed because it was always on the rail. It did not disappear after firing, it did not disappaear when you had no more missiles. We did not have time to implement it properly as we intended, therefore we removed it.

Do you think it's possible to include it fully functioning in the next patch?

So when it is launched it does disapear?

And i have not tested this but.. Once you use all the hellfires on the Apache for example... and you Re-Arm there is no hellfires on the racks?

Last time i did this was 1.20 though.

Thanks for the response suma , I appreciate it.

Would it not be possible to use the same code that the mortar solider uses? , He fires its gone , he reloads it comes back , when he is done its gone and when he has none left , its gone. Just a thought.
