Strange AI Waypoint Behaviour

Been having this problem for a while. On a mission I'm working on, I have a 5 group squad that really only has 1 waypoint: Search and Destroy, and the target area is approx 1500m North of starting location.

The group starts on a shoreline where they are to get into a civilian fishing boat (no mount waypoint though), travel over a small channel (Snow Thirsk), and commence toward the waypoint. The weird thing is, if the player goes down and 2 takes command, he immediately orders all of the team to board small ship that we came over on, even if it's 800+m away :confused:

Why wouldn't he

A. Order someone to heal Team Leader

B. If Team Leader dies, try to complete the waypoint order

Stranger still, if using GL4's Force Move command at any time the AI seems "hung up", they will immediately make a bee line trying to get back to that little boat that never even had a waypoint order assigned to it.

Would be funny if it only happened once, but happens everytime...

Note- this is not a GL4 issue as it happens in Vanilla, I just thought that might shed some light on something.
