Skillzero 10 Posted March 20, 2010 Hey guys... I got arma 2 yesterday and was messing around with the armory in the SU(some sort of number) Jet... Just flying around. In the cockpit view I would get 9 FPS but outside (3rd person) I would get 60... Every time no matter what I did. I tried the helicopter (I cant try other jets as they are locked) and in cockpit was fine FPS wise.. I wasn't low on FPS at all. Any ideas why this specific jet was causing such low FPS? Specs: i7 920 4.24ghz 6GB 2000mhz DDR3 ATI 5870 ATI 5870 (Crossfire) Windows 7 Pro Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Bulldogs 10 Posted March 20, 2010 May be a bug in the planes cockpit display which could be caused by corruption during install, or possibly something it doesn't like in your drivers (like forcing transparent AA on when Arma 2 can't handle it). Best option is to go into the editor then select units and double click somewhere on the map. When the new tab opens, where it says "Class" chose "Air", then where it says "Unit" select a plane or helo from there, then where it says "Special" change it to "flying" After that, hit "preview" and test to see if you're still getting low framerates with the other planes/aircraft. You can edit the unit to select other aircraft and test them out as well. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
